Well it probably is 1/4 scale. Technology gets smaller with time. Probably getting pretty tight in that suit for Chief now.

According to my numbers it seems the McFarlane Chief is in 1/5 scale. Well that's lame. Still looks great though..liking the paint and detail.

I agree with the statue being 1/5 scale. It's not quite as large as my 1/4's but not as small as my 1/6's.
Regardless of size, McFarlane did an amazing job with this statue! It's one of my favorites in my collection.

This turned out great!! Makes the wait for 3A's Master Chief that much more difficult

which still could be a master sample, those things tend to be much larger then the mass produced ones... No matter, we'll see when people start receiving theirs
and regarding the complaints about the 'Halo 4' instead of 'Halo', it all depends on the license they got... Don't forget that the first three games were made by Bungie, the last one by 343 Studios and while Microsoft still owns the license, it does makes a difference what part of the license they have...
I think that they only got the Halo 4 one, not the entire or the older ones...
I'm fairly certain the Microsoft owns every part of Halo in every iteration. That's the deal when a small game company signs up with a publisher, they sign away their properties. 343i was the one that put out Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary.
Maybe they had to put Halo 4 because SS owns the license for statues for Halo properties pre Halo 4 though. That would be my guess.

I just got mine in the mail yesterday and love it. Personally, I don't love giant statues so the under 1/4 scale doesn't bother me. I think it's the best Halo statue yet!

Got mine today. He's undoubtedly 1/5 which should be easily established by now.
Being an owner of both the Mcfarlane and and SS PF, Mcfarlanes chief if done in 1/4 scale would have given SS a run for their money. The paint scheme and application are perfect. This statue is beautiful. The only thing I would liked to have seen different was the scale and the name tag removed. I don't need my statue to say Halo 4 to know what I'm looking at. Aside from those two minor flaws this was executed perfectly. Going with the energy sword since my PF is displayed with the AR already. For 295 shipped I don't know if there's a better bang for your buck on a Master chief right now.

Yeah, the quality of the statue is definitely amazing. After seeing it in person, I have no regrets on spending the $300. I'm pretty sure the Hunter vs. Master Chief statue Mcfarlane put out was 1/6, so I guess scale in the Halo line isn't a top priority for them.

Just arrived and It is Awesome
My only complaint with it is the base. I can't help but feel like it was an after thought. It looks like he's in a garbage dump not a spaceship wreck.
