i got the game yesterday...i like the campaign so far and it seems to be more intense..probably because of the lack of shields. i cant just kamikaze my way through the levels anymore.
I like that it is 2 discs because my original halo 3 is in terrible shape and i never downloaded all the map packs.

My biggest issue is no matchmaking for firefight and campaign..that's just retarted imo.

I would def get ODST over Alliance 2. I got them both and I was pretty disappointed in UA2. In fact I sold it already to a buddy of mine. As for the game I think the campaign is very original and the firefight alone makes it worth getting.

i really dig the game so far. not that far into it but i like it...a lot.

opened this guy today...his arm immediately fell off so i had to put some clear nail polish on the joint to make it stay in the socket...way to go mcfarlane qc. still, he looks sweet next to my xbox.

See if you can pull off the deal I did at BB or just get it a Toy R Us. I dont expect for this game to drop in price any time soon. Its been 2 years and Halo 3 is still $40.

i went to bungies website and got some names of people looking to team up for firefight. it worked out ok but they all wanted to go for achievements and everytime someone died they would restart. it was annoying.they said it takes about 2 hours to get the endure achievement which is way to much time for me to waste just to get the recon armor.

Retail is still $40 amazon just has it discounted.

Sorry i dont buy used games on ebay hell I prefer not to buy used games at all, i want to know what I buy will work or will be replaced if it doesnt.

Well, Amazon's "discounted" price is really its regular price. I hardly buy anything at "retail" price, because it is so easy to find someone charging less.

I'm pretty sure it was around $20 used at my Gamestop recently. You can bring those back if they don't work. I don't buy new games very often at all, since you can usually find a used game in like-new condition pretty easily.

Beat the game last night, and I have to say that I liked it alot more then Halo 3. The game feels more like soldiers in war fighting and such, rather then a spartan going rambo on the enimies.

Also liked the audiologs that are hidden through out the city. Had a pretty good story going for it. Gotta play again so I can try and kill those flying guys for achivements though.
