Man. I'm zonked but we just nabbed the Firefight: Crater achievement. Lasted for an hour and five minutes scored a total of 380,000 points. While Firefight alone is probably not worth it for most, playing with my buddies and really getting into it definitely makes me think my cash was well spent.

bought the soundtrack today. i really dig it and, imo, it is probably the best of the halo soundtracks.

Well I beat the campaign on Legendary with my friends a few days ago and me and my buddy are going through Firefight now. We have 5 more maps to get the 200,000 point achievements on and after that's done, I can't really see any other reason to hold on to the game. I got it from Gamefly and planned on buying it from them a little later but I don't think I'm going to now. I still want to somewhat cause I want all the Halo games but it all just doesn't seem worth it to me. It's a good, fun game but I think Bungie could have added a lot more to it.

I had a free rental so I picked this up on Saturday night. Didn't end up going to sleep and finished it instead. I'm still tired.

I guess the maps from Halo 3 aren't downloadable and you have to put in the second disc. So much for me hoping I could get up to date with all the maps for free.

That being said, if someone wants to play co-op to get some achievements or Firefight, send me an invite when I'm on-line and I'll switch over before I have to return it on Saturday.

So I'm playing campaign again on Easy last night to get some of the achivements. When they say it's easy, they really mean it. I don't think I was ever close to being killed. The only time I died was because I accidentally blew myself up once in the process of getting the rocket kills achievement.

Are the 200,000 points in Firefight hard to get?

i have yet to even break 100k lol. I am playing on normal with one other friend normally. I have only played one 4 player game and they restarted every death. It sucked lol
