I was disappointed by the ending of the game....game play wise. I was expecting a unique fun fight sequence or something to remember for the ages. The finally to Halo 3 was ____ing awesome, that final intense escape on the Warthog was memorable and one of the funnest/most intense moments in video game history for me (especially done co-op). But in Reach we basically get a normal battle and you shoot a big cannon (nothing special), followed by a hold your ground until you die scenario. It was lame, but the game play, story...mainly story was very impressive.

I did not find it lame at all.
As we know Master Chief is the only Spartan not MIA. The melancholic ending was very fitting and even poetic
