Media HALO: The Masterchief Collection.

Picked this up today. About 60-90 min to download and install everything. I really wish games today gave you a manual of some kind; I am a little overwhelmed within MP initially.

Question all: gamestop preorder is unlimited grenades, but for the life of me I am not sure where to go within settings to see this has been 'equipped'?

Not having an issue finding a match

Using the unlimited AMMO and Grenades was the only way I was able to complete Legendary HALO:CE anniversary on the X360. I didnt order The Master Chief collection from Gamestop, but the Ammo skull description says it is for Halo 2 Anniversary only, so I wonder if I can still get the Unlimited skull on Halo:CE on in this collection like I did on the X360 version.

I am able to get into Big Team matches only, but its been fun.

Was the Bandanna skull the gamestop one?


Sniper zoom: took me forever to realize if you tap it, not hold it down, you can go from 2x to 10x zoom....

Unlimited ammo skull (FYI, if you have the skull it should show up when setting up a campaign where you can enable it) is the only way I was able to beat Halo CEA too. Hardest campaign I've every played! I've beat Halo 3, Reach and most of Halo 4 on Legendary solo too.

Im reading that the Unlimited Ammo Skull disables achievements related to difficulties and scores, so it might not help out anymore anyway. Gotta beat the old fashion way this time.

Good luck mate. Halo 2 on legendary is solid. In co-op, if a partner dies you are taken back to the last checkpoint. So yea, god luck with legendary HALO 2

If you're still feeling a little raw about all the problems that Halo: The Master Chief Collection has had since launch, 343 Industries is hoping that a remake of Halo 3: ODST will help rebuild a friendship with the company.


In a recent blog post on Halo Waypoint, Head of 343 Industries Bonnie Ross continued to apologize for the problems that gamers have experienced with Halo: The Master Chief Collection since launch.


Next week, 343 Industries will release an update that will add 10 episodes of the cooperative experience “Spartan Ops” for Halo 4. Also – as a way of saying thank you to fans – 343 Industries will also give away the following to gamers who have played Halo: The Master Chief Collection online at any time since launch:


1 Month of Xbox Live Gold
Exclusive In-Game Nameplate
Exclusive In-Game Avatar
Most importantly however, 343 Industries has already started work on remaking the Halo 2: Anniversary multiplayer map Relic and Halo 3: ODST as free downloadable additions, which will release sometime in the – hopefully near – future.

This is a nice way to say thinks. 343 Industries did some damage to the reputation and to fan's trust with the release of The Master Chief Collection, so it's nice to see that they're taking these problems seriously.

Or ever, at all.
I play Star Wars games and Halo. That's it. No interest in playing anything else.
I also stay away from gaming news so that it's a surprise to see a new SW or Halo game advertised.
Is it campaign gameplay that's a problem, or online play? I don't play online, so i have my fingers crossed that campaign is fine.

MC has a lot of matchmaking issues - for at least the first 3 weeks. I kinda gave up myself...need to see if its truly working and if anyone is playing now

For the most part, recent patches have fixed any problems.

Played the guardians beta this weekend. Well one match anyways. I'd spend 5 minutes looking for a match, time out then go back to searching. I pretty much gave up trying to play it.

hmmm thats unfortunate, me and a friend had the beta and never had problems with it. hopefully you can get in on the 29th when it goes public.
