Media HALO: The Masterchief Collection.

I picked this up last night for the Halo 5 beta and because I heard they were giving ODST free. But I guess that plan when to **** since it looks like only people who have played before December 16th will get the freebie. I guess I should have examined that closer before buying it. Oh well, it was on sale.

Reinstalled this after having not bothered with it since Late Nov - full download is now over 60 gig not including halo 5 beta. Campaign is solid; they've added this little medals with kills.....matchmaking is SLOW as hell and seems bad.

Played 2 matches of the Halo 5 Beta. It seems like a Halo game on crack. A little too fast paced for my tastes. Fans that say it isn't a real Halo MP experience with the ability to sprint makes me question their sanity.....

I dont like halo 5, doesnt feel like halo to me, hate the way weopons shoot, they keep changing halo when they dont need to, Halo 2 was perfect then they kept changing things and it got worse and worse.

One thing i always lamented was the huuuuuge level that was Assault On The Control Room(Which i always love to get *near* the last cutscene, then go *back* to the beginning, to make sure i have mopped up all the enemies), was never repeated in any other game. Other than that one level in the first game, there are no other levels in other games where you can backtrack all the way to the beginning of the level.
I do like being given different challenges in the new games but, ultimately, i play Halo because i love to run around like a headless chicken shooting baddies.
I hardly ever evolve a strategy.
When i am playing, it's: "Let's do this thang! LEEEROY JENKINS!!!!!" and i run in blasting every time.

Halo 2 was a decade ago. Times change. Games change..........Its too bad MCC matchmaking is so bad, it's perfect for people that want that retro gameplay type vibe. Halo 5 feels like Halo to me, but updated. Its still a grenade fest, it has great maps.......controls do feel 'floaty' and the guns need tweaks, but I dig it. As good as any MP out there in this modern era of 2015


Couple new maps and one new game mode out on the Beta today, as well as different weapons, such as the light sniper or whatnot from Halo 4

Since i discovered the Scarab gun, i've been playing H2 full time, lol.
Loving the new graphics. I never realised they were remastering ODST.

I don't think they're remastering ODST, there's just a few improvements they'll make, like for instance with Halo 3 they updated the lighting engine, but didn't go as far as remodeling everything like they did with Halo 1 & 2

With the MC Collection, I had to download it.

Is there a way to only download/install certain games. Say only Halo 1.
Or do I HAVE to install 1 - 4.

Realistically all I need/want at the moment is 1.

When i cranked my Xbox One up, it never gave me the option. Just started downloading the entire disc. It took ages, lol.
