Would help with the story telling to give Kwan a love interest to humanize her character some. Because her character is really all over the place.

Obviously teen blond girl Covenant Queen is going to be Kwan's love interest.

Honestly they should have just brought Anna Popplewell back from Forward Unto Dawn. Just say it's her twin sister.

That's why I loved Spartacus Blood And Sand so much. They knew they weren't giving you Marlon Brando and Daniel Day Lewis. Aaron Sorkin wasn't going to show up and write some scripts. They just gave you lots of fighting, lots of eye candy, lots of sex, lots of fan service.

Halo here should really be like Cinemax's Strike Back. Stylish and fun. I mean if you can't put together a cohesive dramatic script ( because they are failing at it), then at least have some fun and let the audience have some fun.

Woke is always fundamentally humorless. The Ghostbusters reboot was not funny at all. Always some kind of endless preachy sadness porn. It's like someone got a clip of Apollo Creed dying in Rocky 4 and someone put it on an endless loop.

My goodness is this episode bad.... cliche ridden filler of the worst kind.

Perhaps some talented fan editors could cut this entire series down into a serviceable movie, removing all the crap and leaving only the stuff that works. Tall task but maybe it could be done. Maybe.

Ok, if the show featured them (with better hair) in some love action scenes it would be better. The gratuitous ass shots would actually make sense then contextually.

Still wouldn't be very Halo but at least it would be entertaining.

You know it says something when I can rewatch Mortal Kombat Annihilation and still at least get the sense some of the people involved actually played the games. They still didn’t do a good job, but at least most of the characters were base-level game faithful.

Halo has rapidly turned into the series that clearly was written to be something else but they needed a known name to pitch it.

There's some stuff I like, the action is good for the most part but theres not enough of it. I quite like the stuff going on with the other Spartans, and Halsey, but the rest of it I'm just not feeling.

This ******** makes me appreciate the Netflix Witcher show a little bit more, at least Henry Cavill is a fan of the books and games and tries to fix some of the **** ups the writers put on the show, originally Roach's death scene was supposed to be played for laughs... This show however is beyond saving, it's a bunch of hacks taking a beloved IP so they can write their trash that would never get greenlit unless it's attached to a recognizable brand.

I truly hope Henry Cavill plays Commander Shepard in the rumoured Mass Effect show, at least he might keep things straying too far...

I am so glad you posted that vid because I actually hadn't seen that one before. Hilarious! As good as the austin powers mass effect vids and big enough garrus.

Funnily enough, since Mass Effect is actually a franchise where a load of sex and nudity makes sense (unlike Halo) the producers will probably avoid any of that. Because they just have to be contrarian.
