I was watching Star Wars today and noticed something odd. When han gets off of the go kart transport on Yavin, his holster for his blaster is on the left side. When he gets back from the death star raid it is back on the right side. How many of you have noticed this?

You sure the film wasn't reversed? Common trick often used by directors to make scenes flow better.

I agree with Nam about flipping the scenes.

However in the Expanded universe it is reveled that Han is ambidextrous and shoots quite well with his left. There was a part where he tricked a enemy to shocking his and Han's right hand in order to have an advantage because Han was still very skilled with his left.

Which basically means an OCD fanboy picked up on it and they wrote some story to explain the continuity error. :lol

The flipping scenes can be common. Happens in jedi in the hangar with Landos chest holster, you see it switch from one side to the other. caught it a few times throughout the trilogy cant remember which other scenes....

Boba Fett in Jabba's palace during the thermal detonator scene. The antenna on his visor and shoulder cape switch to the opposite sides.

OH.. so SSF members?

I'm going to be honest, that one has always bugged me. With some of the corrections Lucas has done over the years, I'm surprised that hasn't been one of them. I mean when your character has an asymetrical face/helmet and you flip it, its going to be noticable. :slap

To me, this Han being ambidextrous is just some EU crap created to justify this goof. I wanna hear the Boba Fett mirrored mask excuse though :lol

The range finder rotates/slides across the rim around the helmet.

He has two different helmets that he sometimes swaps out.

During that exact time Leia pulls out the detonator, Boba is looking at himself aiming in a mirror in Jabba's Palace. "You talkin' to me?"

In Jedi on the barge to the Sarlaac Pit, Chewies Ammo belt is reversed...why was he allowed to keep his ammo belt, if he was a prisoner??? Oh well whatever!
