I missed Hannibal last night but just finished watching it this morning. I thought it was a great episode and one of the best so far.

I liked the look Jack Crawford was giving honey bunny when she was rattling off her ******* crazy philosophies.

And yea, that ending. My wife jumped when Hannibal showed up behind that chick.

I knew she was gonna get caught, but seeing Hannibal's sillhouette in the background still sent a chill down my spine.

Also, that expression on Hannibal's face when Jack's wife od's on the morphine, so subtle, yet so ****ing creepy. Mads Mikkelsen is doing some fantastic work with this character.

I totally agree. I'm a huge fan of Anthony Hopkins Hannibal and was really skeptical about MM, but he's hitting out of the park. Fantastic just like you said.

Whereas Hopkins' strength came from his ability to portray Lecter with brash theatricality, I think that Mikkelsen does a wonderful job of turning that on its head with a cold and subtle, yet extremely charismatic approach.

Exactly! MM is so emotionless...The perfect psychopath. So creepy good.

This end scene reminded a lot of SotL when Starling was in Buffalo Bill's house and he killed the lights. Starling was stumbling around in the dark with her gun drawn trying to find BB. Mads looked to have turned the lights off on Bev.

I think the most interesting thing is how they're going to deal with it. It's clear that he isn't just going to let her walk out of there, but things are tense as it is. The walls are going to start closing in when members of your team go missing.

The difference is Hopkins character is known to everyone as being an intelligent psychopathic killer with nothing to hide. And he relishes it. Mikkelsen's version has to hide that but has relishes the moments like watching Crawford's wife attempt suicide.

Yea she is a goner. I still don't see how this series is going to lead into Red Dragon since Will Graham clearly knows Hannibal is a killer and this seasons opening fight with Crawford.

Anyone making figures for this? Funko have the license for those Pop things, but I'd love figures of Hannibal, Jack and Will. I'd also love someone to do dioramas of all the victims, like McFarlane's Tortured Souls years ago.

Me and Bates82 both have Hannibal sculpts on order from 11...Eta is April, and were looking for fabrics for suits.
No Hugh Darcy sculpts around or anything that could be modded into a HD/WG imo, but for Crawford...Predators Nolan.
