Sorry if it has been discussed before, but as I won't get to watch these for a week or so, can somebody tell me if these have the remastered sound or is it in stereo?

Thanks

JJJ85,

I have the ANH & ESB most-recent versions and they look amazing. Thank-you! So far I've held off on 1.0 of ROTJ though...

Question:

Will an updated version of ROTJ be done before TFA comes out in December, or should I go ahead & make the 1.0 plunge? (I want to have a viewing party the weekend before the new movie comes out, and I feel the Laser Disc rip that came out on that one DVD-set looks pretty muddy.)

Thanks!

The fact that its the theatrical version of ROTJ is also a huge plus. The SE crap in ROTJ is awful and i consider any version that not the SE is worth getting :lecture

I recently picked up Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic on Xbox. Playing that game and then watching the despecialized editions really makes for a relaxing and fun time.

Ah, good times. Second game I bought for that system (after Halo) and completely responsible for the disc reader wearing down.

Hey Guys I am all caught up and can help anyone in need.

LMK when you touch base if you are in the states or if not what country please.

Hear an extensive interview with Harmy on the latest "The Projection Booth" podcast. NOTE: This single-file podcast about STAR WARS (ep 4) is SIX HOURS long. It contains a ton of interviews. It's well-worth listening to the whole thing. There's interviews with the film's sound and set decoration folks, the authors of inside books on the history of the film and it's social / historical impact, etc. etc. If you like STAR WARS, you'll dig it all. But if you just want Harmy, skip forward to 4:37:35. The Projection Booth Podcast: Episode 219: Star Wars
