Why the hell are they splitting the book in half anyways? There's no need for that, unless they want to show the stuff the other kids had to deal with at Hogwarts...

I disagree, they're splitting the book so they can get the last movie(s) as close to the book as possible. They don't want to have to cut much of anything out, and give us the best possible HP finale they can.

I think its because the book is what, 800 pages??? No way they could get everything major and important from the final chapter in the Potter series into one movie.

it will probably break with either
a) Xenophilius (spelling sorry, why couldn't JKR name him John?) saying "Are you refering to the sign of the Deathly Hallows?"

Me either! Although not everyone agrees with me, I feel like the movies get better as they go along. I don't judge the movies based off of whether or not they incorporate everything in the books, but rather judge them based off of what I see in each film. People complain when things get cut out, yet there's no way they can fit it all in to one 2.5 hour movie. I just enjoy the films for what the are. The latest film, The Half-Blood Prince, is my favorite thus far.

I guess I have been living under a rock. I just found out that there willbe two movies to cover this book.
