That trailer was pretty impressive. Looks like they're expanding the scope and sequence of events just a bit from the book and making this a really big finish. Some of those shots were epic on a Lord of the Rings scale, and we've had seven films now to get to know the characters--so this should be a pretty engaging and satisfying conclusion to the film series.

Hard to believe it's been ten years since seeing the first movie on opening day. I was unemployed when it came out and a lot has changed since then.

I moved to Oklahoma, got a job, lost my mother, had a baby, quit my job, found a better job and moved back to Houston. Sheesh, I felt like I've come along way since 2001 as have the characters in these films. Should be an interesting ride next month!

I am so excited for this ending. I am completely down that it's the end, but it's going to be one hell of a finish. Every time I watch the new trailer I get massive goosebumps. Everything about this film is huge, epic even. I know not only will this be my favorite film of 2011, but probably in my top 5-10 of all time films. Probably more like my top 3ish...Serenity being #1.

We are going to be celebrating the evening of the films release at the Highball. They are holding an amazing function and there was no way we were going to miss it. Especially since they are going to be setting up the ballroom as the Great Hall. I just can't wait!

Even though part of me refuses to believe that HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS PART 2 marks the end of the Harry Potter films (because seriously, how will life go on?), we’ve decided to celebrate the film release with not one but two parties! Join us for a shindig of wizardly proportions in the Highball ballroom, which will be transformed into the Great Hall for a delicious feast and Harry Potter themed trivia. Journey through the entire saga with the help of the Institution Theater, who will be performing the complete series live… in only an hour! Dress up as your favorite character and stick around for the SuperSet party, where we shall defeat Lord Voldemort through the power of dance. Muggles welcome!

I doubt it. He doesn't die in the book and they have stayed true to the deaths in the books.

Has anyone else noticed that Hogwarts has changed again? The viaduct has for some reason swung around and is now a bridge leading from the courtyard to another bit of land across the lake?
