Anyone think there will be an awesome bluray release once pt.2 is released to bluray? Like a trunk or something with the discs? I think that would be amazing and am definitely hoping for it.

It's pretty much guaranteed. But WB will probably jerk us around first by releasing a regular set first and then another, bigger set. They are gonna milk it for all they can :(

Alright this has nothing to do with Deathly Hallows but I figured I'd have a better chance at some answers in here as opposed to the rate the movie thread.

I've now caught up to Order Of The Phoenix, and although I've enjoyed the series thus far, I feel as though I'm missing a lot of infrenence having not read the books (especially in the last two films). I could go on about a lot of things that bother me within the context of the world but I'll stick with the only two that really bother me and are more execution related.

1. In Goblet Harry sees Malfoy as a part of Voldomort's court, Malfoy jr. is a pain in Harry's ass at Hogwarts. Why does Harry say nothing to anyone about Malfoy at the end of Goblet and then in Phoenix? Especially when he sees Malfoy talking with the minister and Malfoy jr. continuing to be a pain in his ass?

2. Is Hermoine always in a panic? She hasn't stopped panting since the first film and raises her eyebrows up and down with every line she speaks. How is she described in the books?

Remember Cedric died so saying he saw malfoy wasn't the first thing on his mind. Also remember Fudge did everything to discredit Harry and many didn't even believe he saw voldemort and with Fudge working again him why go tell Fudge when he was talking to Malfoy in the beginning of OOTP?

In the books Hermione was described as either in tears or almost in tears 80 percent of the time.

I'm sure Cedric's death was at the forefront, but you wouldn't forget seeing him and at the very least would have told Dumbeldore or Sirius or his friends. If we don't go off the Goblet film then and just focus on Phoenix he fights Malfoy at the end so no way he forgets that, yet still no mention of it to Dumbeldore at the end. Please tell me this will be addressed in the next film?

Do yourself a favor and read the books. I was highly resistant to them at first then once I started I devoured them.

That's exactly what I think. First they are going to release the last film on it's own. Then a bit later release a dvd collection of all 8, and THEN release it as this amazing collection you wont want to miss. Now, how do we restrain ourselves from buying it more than once. I do not know.

Yeah, there is definitely no point in not reading them. I just finished a couple of days ago and you gain a lot by reading them.

I always feel bad for the movie fans who don't read the books. They really don't know what they are missing.

Sorry about that. Totally didn't respond to your question.

I just think that since Snape knew he was going to die, I wish he tried to fight back, even for a moment. But just dieing on the spot like that, from Nagini, sucked. My favorite character taken down by a snake, without a fight for his life. But I guess if he had fought, he wouldn't have been able to get the memories out for Harry. Then again, I don't believe Snape thought he was going to die then anyways. He kept asking Voldemort to let him get Harry. I wonder if he sensed his death straight away. Or if he just wanted to get to Harry to share the memories.

Did you finish the series now? I can totally see where you are coming from with that. I m even inclined to agree, though it had never occurred to before.

I'm buying the Ultimate Editions they're releasing at the moment and then the big-ass-limited-collector's-super-edition-box-set whenever that happens :D

Yep, completely done and sad about it. But I did enjoy reading the extremely short 800 word prequel J.K. wrote.

I wont be spending that much. I will probably just try to buy the single bluray until the ultimate collection comes out. I got pt. 1 for $10 brand new. So maybe I will get lucky with pt.2

I don't intend to rebuy the ones I have. I'm holding off on buying pt. 1 in hopes that they'll release 1 and 2 together in the same case.

How do you find theaters doing a double feature? I would have expected most theaters to jump all over that opportunity, but I can't find any in my area...

Haven't seen any of my local AMC's doing that either. They might but its not looking like it.

Only about a month away, now. :D

The Alamo in Austin is doing a marathon of all the movies. Leading up to the final. We are hoping not to miss out on tickets.

Final full-length trailer being released tomorrow at 4pm PST.

And in one month, IT ALL ENDS! :'(

Nah, we can't be more than 5 years away from a reboot, tv series, cartoon, or (longer term) Jo will finally cave and write a new book (which she has admitted she thinks about on a daily basis).

And if not, I re-read these mofos all the time. I'm just glad I experienced it while it happened because no one is using spoiler tags anymore. :lol

AMC theaters will be announcing something later this week as far as special events. I'm hoping its getting to see at least part 1 before part 2.
