Ohhh Yay!!! Got him from GG site. He arrived today.....:thud: but his finger was broke. So sad. Called customer service, had to send them a pic. Hopefully it gets taken care of fast.
I like the statue. I'm no expert, although I've been collecting along time. I think its up their with SS quality. Colored Box is like the GG Bust Line. I only took pics to send to GG customer service. To sad to go nuts with the camera at the time. And I'm no photographer.
Also listed as a 250 edition size.

He looks amazing! I can't wait till mine arrives. Thank you so much for the photo. I'm so sorry about the broken finger. :(

I really want the upcoming Medicom Snape figure -but cant justify the $200 price tag.

If you're referring to the Medicom 1/6 figure then I agree. I guess those are all we can expect in the way of 1/6 articulated figures? If so that sucks. The Harry figure isn't all that great of a likeness and also pretty expensive. Snape looks great but is even more expensive.

Entertainment Earth is shipping Voldie too - 250 edition size is nothing - if this is even remotely decent then it will be in high demand I'd think.

The Harry "in hand" isn't bad at all. The Snape looks excellent, but will they do a Ron? or Hermione? Despite the scale difference i am in for all they will produce, but I fear the line will be limited!

Razor's Edge is shipping very soon as well. And yes, at 250...this one should be a hit. Since it's finally coming to pass. Though, it is still in stock on GG.

What is the "scale difference"? Are you referring to the Harry figure compared to Snape? I'm guessing it is 12 inches\, when it should be slightly shorter compared to a 12 inch Snape?

So the grand finale to my Cedric Diggory GG bust from Cornerstorecomics.com came down to it just not being in stock. I guess if I never called, my money would have stayed with them forever, as they never ever answered my email. But still, big props to BuffyGirl for the heads up on that, even if it did not materialize for me. They said something like, that was a preorder price and since "nobody" preordered it (yeah, right!) that it just never purged from their system.

But I will agree with BG, they do have great service on the phone. :D

Voldemort PF arrived today. Was it worth the 4 year wait? Hmm. I was a bit surprised at the packaging - I expected it to be a bit more secure, but luckily nothing was broken. The robe was clumped up around his knees, but it doesn't appear to be permanently wrinkled. It's well put together and simulates the ethereal material of the robe from Goblet fairly well. I would have preferred one of his later outfits - particularly the robes when he fights Dumbledore in OotP - but - this was the only outfit we had when the figure debuted, right?

I was disappointed that he didn't have a wand in his hand, I thought I'd remembered him having a wand. But it has been 4 years right? However I found it in the box in a corner - It fits in the hand well, but there's no plug or magnet to hold it in place.

The paint is decent and the sculpt is far more detailed than the GG bust. It's a bit smaller than 1/4 scale, but as long as it's in scale with Harry, I'll be okay with it.

Wow - so they actually did make the PF. Color me surprised. I had given up all hope on that. :lol

It doesn't look good for those who collect Gentle Giants Potter mini busts : (

This was my original question I posted on their blog.
"Hi GG, will the Harry Potter mini-busts continue after Trelawnly? Love to see Slughorn, Arthur & Molly, Kingsley, Narcissa & Flitwick"

GG's Reply
"Hello Andrew, Thank you for your email today. As it stands right now there are no plans in production for any Harry Potter figures. But you never know maybe somewhere down the road. If you need further assistance with anything else please don't hesitate to contact us and we will be more than happy to assist you. Thank you,Rob CamposGentle Giant StudiosCustomer Service Dept."

Actually got my Neville Bust Today from GG. $149 is a good price.

Still waiting for word on my Voldemort Replacement. Probably have to call tomorrow.

Just got mine and I'm putting together a quick video now. I think it came over great and was very happy with it. I also was a little surprised to see it was one huge piece, base and arms all attached, but mine went from CA to NY to PA and arrived fine. Will post the video link as soon as it's up. Hoping to shoot pics later.
