Has anyone ever been stressed through collecting ?

that's why i don't collect this stuff. as cool as it is, i am just too poor to afford most of the good pieces.

i sometimes feel like a stranger in a strange land, though.
but i get to live vicariously through BadMoon, Loki and Kit.

I always have my Budget in mind... but I do stress when I like something I have on order.. but something better come along that I really want. So It's always a pick and choose world for me... but the deciding factor is my plan. What do I want my collcetion to look like? It's an ever shaping creature.

I'm not stressed per se, but last night I was thinking about it and it made me pretty sad. I think what makes me most sad is to think that the days of getting the second tier characters for a franchise is at an end.

SSC is becoming a lot like HT in prices and I'm worried they will be similar in the choices of figures they release. HT never releases obscure characters in their lines. Its always the top 3 or 4 characters from a property.

SW at $50 allowed for a lot of nonessential character choices. But now SSC is making so many different popular lines and charging so much that I think we'll be getting pretty much just main characters now. Not enough people will be willing to pay $80 for Lobot.

What makes me frustrated is that Han is $65 and Luke is $70 and neither are more complicated than Jedi Luke at $50.

It only gets stressful when circumstances come up in real life that take priority over my hobby, then I have to decide which pre-orders to cancel.

the only stress i get is from the wait from preorder to delivery. that said i have to say im losing some hair waiting for my HT batman stuff.
