Hmm, this is how the product description spells it out:
Adjustable straps allow users to wear like Captain America

Could be interpreted as wearing it on your back, or just being able to hold the shield on your arm. I'm looking at the handle straps and there just might be enough slack there to open it up and put the shield on like a backpack, but it's hard to say for sure.

Wearing it on the arm is a given with any shield because that's how anyone would hold a shield. So wearing it like Capatin America would be like you said, a backpack.

Do NOT confuse this shield with the 75th Anniversary Metal Shield!
The metal one comes in a different packaging, and it has the '75' logo embossed on the leather strap.

Picked up a metal shield myself, already have the efx one (decent shield, terrible mount, and horrid customer service), but its a damn good price for a metal shield.

Picked this bad boy up today at a discount store for $70. The box was torn was all. There's really nothing too major to complain about. The colors are a little dark, the surface is really prone to scratching and scuffing, and there's some spots where debris was caught in the paint. All in all, it's pretty nice for the money.
