A really nice Black Series 6" Sandrooper as present from a good friend - I weathered it a bit more, and painted the white joints black as they should have been:

Yeah I know. Don't really feel like spending money just to spend it. Found a few things of interest, but not enough to get the $35 free shipping.

I'm hoping my TRU gets these guys in tomorrow and i can get Fett from them, then I will order greedo and Leia from HTS with the 25% off code. Solo I'm waiting to get for $10 from bbts.

So far it seems it is unwise to pay retail for these. Even sandtrooper is cheap now, makes me wonder if Fett will be readily available and cheap in a month too.

Looks good, but you forgot to paint the bottoms of the boots black.

I wanted to, but not sure if it will not peel off in time, maybe I'll only do the rims. Though not showed too well in the picture there I weathered the back pack too.

I managed to grab a 6" Luke X-Wing a couple of months back from Liverpool TRU. There was one Luke and one R2 left. I firmly believe the staff snatch all the good stuff up and bang them on Ebay before they even touch the shelves.

Toys R Us in the UK got the world premiere of the Black series they have those stupid first day of release stickers on them.

I have constantly campaigned for better distribution to the Independant retailer. We support the Star Wars line all year round and then Toys R Us come along when ever there is a new film or for eg the 6" Black series and get the exclusive right to sell them first.

Well, the TRU I planned to go to this morning had Fetts, but of course I promised to drive my fiance to work and she took forever to get ready and I'm not able to go now. ****in' hell. Hopefully I'll luck out and they'll have them tomorrow and the buy one get 1 50% off is still in effect.

I just got my series 1 set from amazon. Wow these look a lot better than I was expecting. I haven't taken them out of the box because I have no place to put them now but I'm definitely going to pick up the rest.

Yeah, they really do look amazing. I've now got Luke, R2 and Darth Maul. Darth Maul is one of the best quality figures I own, I think. I can't find a single flaw with him. What I love about these figures is that not only do they look good and pose well, they feel really solid and seem like they could withstand a lot of play, if a very lucky child were to get them.

You need to get a Sandtrooper. Along with Fett it's the best figure of the line.

I will definitely get a Sandy at some point. I've been spending way too much money lately though, and the next figure I get in this line is going to be Han, hands down. I could go without a Sandtrooper, but I absolutely must have Han in my collection.

Finally got a damn Fett. Had to pay full retail, which bugs me a little. Got him at target. Wasn't on the shelf but an employee was happy to grab a fresh case from the stockroom. I think they had several of them too.

Saw the rest of the wave for the first time in person too, and think they look pretty damn good. Now I just need to decide if I'm getting greedo and leia tonight from HTS with the 25% off coupon, which makes them like $33 for both, or if I'll wait it out and hope they drop down to $10 on amazon.

Maybe you should buy an extra Fett off Ebay for 35 or 40 bucks, probably make you feel better about picking one up at "full retail" or buy extra of those several, sell them off at a good price and end up with free fett
