Didnt hasbro say they were changing the packaging going forward? the window was supposed to carry all the way up so chewie and vader can be seen in their entirety .. weird. not that I really care anyways as i throw out the boxes

Chewie was the figure I was looking forward to the most - but the end result is disappointing.
It looks more like a stretch-o sasquatch. It's as though he was sculpted, then grabbed at the head & feet - & stretched.
The cone head is bad too - the open mouth is the least of this figure's drawbacks.

I agree. Also, Chewie looks silly in that pose. Hasbro did mention that they were changing the packaging but maybe after it was done they realized that they would have to increase the already expensive price and decided to hold off till after Jabba and the speeder bike?
Paid retail for Boba and half off for Sandtrooper, R2 and Luke so I can't complain.

Wait, that packaging caries the red/orange stripes, but I thought they said, and showed, they were gonna get blue stripes from wave 3 or 4 forward.

It will be cool to have a Chewbacca. So far I'm not a fan of the Human sculpts, but the aliens and Armors look good.

Going off topic a bit but.... I got greedo, Han & xwing Luke for my birthday, for the size these things are awful, I expected much better quality and far better sculpting.

Since it's mass produced, we probably won't get much better. A few gems do appear now and again like the Vintage Collection Gamorrean Guard

I agree there are some gems in hasbro's catalogue of figures but these are a bit of a disappointment. Consider what McFarlane used to produce and what neca have done with their aliens & predator figure, neither of which were/are high end collectibles or cost a lot of money & it shows hasbro could/should up their game to really treat collectors with this 6" line, without making us pay through the nose.
I saw Hemble's repaint of Han and he'd transformed the figure into a real show stopper, in the uk these are £20 - £30. I just think they should be better than they actually are.

RUMOR... nothing confirmed... dont believe anything until an actual case pre order goes up on EE or BBTS
Feel the same way. So far Luke is only human sculpt I have wanted. Sticking to aliens and armor myself unless a gem appears in the future. Shame because I really wanted all of the core characters.
