I think with black lenses and some cape retooling vader could be fixed into an okay state, from certain angles.

Got my 2 Biker Scouts with bikes today from Amazon. Holy Cow! Pretty awesome......gun seems a tad tiny but hard to tell. Legs are a little flimsy but the helmet seems proportionate (finally)! Really glad there is no reveal feature on the visor!

Seems translucent still just not as much as the blue.
I went hunting today to 4 walgreens. At the 4th try just as I turn to walk out empty handed the manager practically runs into me with Luke and Boba!

Hey Joda76, could you indulge me and maybe make a picture of Luke and Vader with the lightsource above them and no flash (that is to say, atmospheric/spot-lighting)? All these reviews and pictures rarely have the actual lighting I'll be seeing them in on my shelves.

Looks like the cape is futzed good in that one pic above.
Noticed there is extra material on the lower tabbards that need trimming.
Looks like the modded one above has that done.

I call absolute B.S. on this. If anything Hasbro would sculpt the best Vader they could to re-use the mold again and again. Instead, they'll just keep re-using this crappy Derpa Vader mold again and again.

The only thing that will fix Vader is a smaller head sculpt. Who has those larger Obi Wan 6 inch head sculpts again? Maybe they can save this figure with a smaller helmet sculpt?

I don't know. Mafex' Vader is due pretty quickly if I recall but I went back and his head is too small imo.

I'm not sure if it's truly the head size, I think it's having no neck, no black eyes and crappy applied soft goods that kill the overall look.

I agree it's the no neck and cape that throws it off along with the eyes. I may even shine up the helmet.

Scored two white fetts today from 2 different walgreens & a stormtrooper from target. Passed on chewie and vader. Chewbacca is horrid imo. May pick up vader at a later time, just wasnt real impressed with him.

Practical Vader reveal helmets never seem to work at any scale. There's always that small gap that throws the likeness. Should have been two heads.

Really hope I can find a white fett...
