I'm still not sure how I feel about the new armor design. They kind of look like clowns to me.

At times I'm okay with the new design, but there are also times when I can't help but think of this (Must be the Disney vibe)......

Awesome!! Thank you for the heads up! Can't wait to get Boushh and IG-88!!! Especially, Boushh, which is my favorite SW character design! Looking at these again, I think there is some error. The "Legends" figures are not 6", but the 3 3/4 figures. The photos they provide for these listings are of the 6" figures, though.

Don't they mean "Exclusive packaging"?

The TFA stormtrooper will be everywhere come September and October.

Great review, love the pics.

Interesting that Hasbro seems to have had an easier time getting a decent HF likeness at 3 3/4" and 6" scale than HT did at 1/6.

The goggles seem to be Luke's goggles - I guess they didn't want to have to sculpt two sets.

Still not crazy about the new Trooper look, but the art on the front of that SDCC exclusive makes them look bad ass. Wish they resembled that a bit more. Do like the specialized new Troopers though, hope to see some of them start arriving in some product form, 6" or 12", either one. Both would be great.

I hope we get more OT figures before the new TFA figures flood the markets. Still waiting for a 6" Black series Hammer Head, and Death Squad Trooper to add to my collection.

Me too. However, Hasbro seems to have been avoiding the secondary characters, which is a massive shame.

I think It will all be TFA for the next 12 months, with a few OT heavy hitters like Vader and Boba thrown in.

New 6" Figures Quick Review

Boush - Four out of ten, very disappointing. This figure was clearly pantographed too large, she towers over Slave Leia and the head is much larger. The lower body articulation is severely hampered by the skirt piece, which was molded in hard unyielding plastic. There is virtually no leg movement above the knees. She can't hold the Thermal Detonator, it just falls out as the thumb isn't in the right spot. I ended up modifying mine to make her the correct height, legs are useless until I find a replacement skirt.

Clone Cody - Eight out of ten, great figure. My only nitpicks is that the orange shoulderpads and orange helmet piece are cast in orange plastic that has that a bit too much transparency.

IG88 - Nine out of ten, great figure. Love all the articulation and nothing feels like it's about to break. Loses one point for the figure being almost black rather than silver. I slapped some silver paint on him and now he is better.

Han & Taun Taun - Eight out of ten, great set. First of all, I'm shocked this set is only $40 as the Taun Taun is quite large and would never be sold on the shelves for only $20. Now to get the price down they sacrificed articulation on the Taun Taun, overall it works great on hard surfaces but on carpet you will have to use the tail for balance. For some stupid reason they skipped wrist articulation on Han, bad call. Even with a few flaws, for $40 this set is a steal.

C3-P0 Bandai 1/12 scale kit - Ten out of ten. Shiny gold and silver. Two Heads, two sets of arms, two chests, two sets of hands. Scale seems to fit BS perfectly. A very fun model to put together. I modded mine to have more lower body articulation, the feet now rock left/right and the hips can spread a bit farther. Also added light-up eyes.

R2-D2 & R5-D4 Bandai 1/12 scale kit- Ten out of ten. You can buy both of these figures for around $25. They are larger than the BS series and are much closer to the correct scale. Ended up giving R5-D4 a sandy weathered paintjob, love it!
