so why did phasma come down in price on the secondary market? did people come to their senses or did people not care for this character with little screen time.?

Yes and yes. For me there was an additional reason for no interest now. But can't really say because it could be considered a spoiler.

Also the figure is not 'rare' anymore. On screen performance aside, the peak of the prices were after the first release of that wave of figures. Since then, that wave has been restocked on store shelves AND the figure will also be included in the soon to be released wave with the flame trooper. The supply has basically been tripled and that is not a recipe for maintained high prices.

EDIT: Also don't forget Chinese bootlegs (if you see one from china without a box, its a bootleg!) They are now plentiful as well. While not "as good", to many it is a low cost option that reduces overall demand for the real figure.

I imagine the Disney Elite is pretty much worthless now as well

Anyone know a good place in UK for BS figs?
When they first came out I saw Kylo everywhere but passed because I was getting Figuarts. I now want him for the cloak but he's rare as rocking horse dung!

is black series making a return to original trilogy any time soon? If I don't get x wing biggs and wedge I'm going to set my collection on fire.

Thank you! Do you know where they line up with Figma/Figuarts/Mafex stuff?

I think they're pretty close. I'm sure others here are better suited to answer that question. I have a couple of non-Star Wars figuarts figures and they seem pretty good. I just built a Bandai Model kit 1/12th scale Boba Fett and he is in perfect scale, as are the R2-D2 and R5-D4 kits. I've seen pics that the Bandai model kit Stormtrooper is also in scale with Hasbro's 6" Black Series figures.

Thank you! My goal is to get all of the characters I am interested in across lines and licenses, shoot for the same scale so they look good (to me) on display and more importantly, get the best version of the character so I only have to buy it once.

For instance, counting the black series, I've seen 3-4 really nice Darth Vaders. No idea which one to get. I don't mind paying $100 for a 6 inch figure if it's the only time I have to buy it. I probably don't make sense, so I apologize! :)

well, if you're going for the best version of each character, i'd say that that counts out hasbro's figures (other than the ones that don't get made by other companies).

as for vader.. a lot of people really like the bandai 1/12 kit. it just requires some painted detailing and, for me, a new fabric cape. i'm not a big fan of the plastic cape that it comes with.

i also don't think the mafex version is too bad, but the helmet sculpt isn't the best.

and lastly there's the figuarts version.. but i've read that people think it's too small and slender.

Besides the model, is the Mafex one considered the best? It's in scale with the black series? Do they make other SW figures, sir?
