Really only digging the sandtrooper from those pics.
I wonder if we'll get a dewback at this scale.
I'd be all over that.

Same with a scout+Speeder bike

Fabric cloth on this size of figure sucks and looks like something your mom made on the kitchen table 'cause the sewing room is filled with sterlite containers of unused rolls of yarn and boxes of Dad's ridiculous porn collection.

I'd say these look better

Don't forget hasbro is stylised as well, just as much as 3A (but its deemed acceptable because it has been the norm for years)

3A's price range is also higher than Hasbro's. I would expect higher quality for something that's going to be more than $50.

Their prices are good for the quality that's put into their stuff.
Their AP/6" lines tend to go for around $45-$50
The SDCC Boba is going to be $44 right? And that's double the price of what the retail figures cost, simply because he comes with frozen Han.
And I bet he will sell like crazy.
I think people would pay 3A prices for quality if they're willing to pay about the same for lesser quality+ a hunk of plastic.

The Sandtrooper looks good and I have to say the R2 looks much better in these pics but it's still not what I was expecting paint-wise.

I see what they are doing with the new articulation. Seem to be going for the SH Figurearts collectors.

Just called Hasbro and cancelled my preorder. Really sad that these are no where near the quality of prototypes. Why don't companies start making prototypes that don't look that good, but look awesome when released? Now that's something I could get behind.

Those pics are all I need to decide I'm not getting into this line. The Sandtrooper does still look ridiculously awesome. I might get him. I might not. I don't really care anymore.

I'm happy Hasbro dropped the ball in wave one because I was going to spend $60-$180 on the first three waves only to be plagued with this crap later and have an inconsistent/incomplete collection.

I quit preordering from everyone for that reason. Plus you can find them cheaper once they're released.

I was planning on picking up the sandtrooper if I can find it in stores when it's available in August.

I assume Hasbro will release Vader, I hope it will look decent.

Sandtrooper is the only really decent figured, yet that yellow helmet just kills it for me.

This line could have been great. Very disappointed. R2 is just terrible - and the scale is way, way, way off

Brilliant! :lecture

Keeping my order regardless of these pics. First ever 6'' Star Wars and not missing out.

Is they all had fitted clothing like that Boba Fett I would reconsider but there's no way you would be seeing that type of tailoring on a figure for $20.
