Yeah it's the same old but thought I saw or heard something like the engine compartment wasn't painted, weathered or no engine. I may be trippin

The engine has a part that can rotate in the SDCC version. The standard release does not. Only difference beside box.

Picked up the Black Series Vader in the standard packaging. Great figure except for the cape. It's laughably bad.

I walked around with Luke's speeder box under my arm for 30 minutes until I was finally able to put it down and walk out empty handed lol

So I'm not the only one? I've been know to carry stuff around stores forever, it really does help. Today I had $100 stuff in my basket at target. I sat there forever. Even had them hold it behind the service counter while I got an iced coffee and smoked a cigarette. I came back in and proceeded to walk it back to the aisle muttering to myself "you don't this crap!". Halfway to the toy section I even turned around, "screw it, I'm just gonna get it all. I'll return it later!". I eventually put it all back except BS6 Hera. I got issues, but at least I still have $80!

Last night I stared at my laptop screen forever on Hasbro Toy Shop with the BS Landspeeder in my cart about to hit place order. Even with the 15% off & free S&H totaling $54 and saving like $10, I still said screw it and didn't order. Then I went to TRU today and they had 1 on the shelf. I carried around, then put back...
Just not worth $60 to me for a chunk of cheap plastic. I waited out the Speederbike and eventually got it for $15 instead of $40... Plus if I get the Landspeeder, that means I'll need to buy the SH Figuarts farmboy Luke too (another $60!) since Hasbro's sucks so bad.. Although the head on the new version that comes with the Landspeeder is much better.

I noticed that too, the new Luke actually looks pretty good with the new headsculpt and poncho.

It's not just you bro, I've felt that from the very begining with this and Rey's speeder. If they were scaled correctly, I woulda bought Lukes speeder last night.

btw: After TRU midnight opening last night, two targets today, another toys r us, gamestop, and two walmarts (walmart literally had nothing), this is all I walked away with. Stuff is cleaned out in my area.

I do plan on getting all the black series figures as I come across them (except a few repacks I dont need)...
