Paint application is what's kept me from diving into this line, even if the quality was somewhere between what it is and custom paint jobs that would make the price feel more justified, when the line started I went to Toys R Us to check them out and was shocked to see 4 inch figure paint work on a collector's line of figures that cost double the price.

Re: Hasbro legends 6" sw figures

Thanks guys. That's the new Black Series 6" Kylo. The cape is rubber but very pliable. I like it quite a bit actually. The head needed to be run under hot water. It was much easier after heated. The pegs are the same size on both figures. You will get a very small amount of neck showing, but if it bothers you a little paint would be an easy fix. I'm good with it as is, can barely see it. The previous figure had a shorter neck that I felt looked a little stubby. This really just worked well.

Nice mod! Seeing Kylo with the helmet on goes a long way toward making me like his new look from "The Last Jedi."

ANOVOS showed a proto Sabine helmet.

However, some folks, myself included, took a Hasbro survey about their product lines.

One of the survey questions was about gauging interest in a Black Series Sabine helmet, alongside other items like a riot baton.

ah!! the SURVEY is what i was thinking of. Avonos though... interesting!!!

Took them 2 years to release this, pre-ordered in an instance. But it's limited to 2 per customer.

That Luke base is really nice. Rey comes with a Crait one, I think?

If anyone is interested in a Black Series collection, I'm looking to sell mine off.

So, after taking a close look at the new BS Vader in-hand, I finally found a difference between it and the 40th Early Bird Vader - His neck is painted silver.

I know it's not much, but it's something. :lol

Also, does anyone know where/when that force ghost Obi-Wan will be available? He looks awesome.

I repainted the Thrawn figure last night. Amazing what kind of detail a paint job can bring out.
Warning: large pics

Holy **** dude, that looks incredible. :horror

Bad paint applications plague this line. Hopefully it'll get a little better when they upgrade to Marvel Legends' face printing method.

Thanks! Yeah, hopefully it will get better. It will be a bit riskier buying online though, because when that face printing method fails, it fails badly and the facial features end up all over the place. I'm sure it will get better with time though.

Oh totally. I only buy ML online when I've lost hope of finding the figure I'm looking for in-store. It's been hard trying to find a two-pack of Star Lord and Ego where they both look good. :lol

I'm my experience, the Loki figure is one that's really all over the place - some look absolutely terrible in the face, others look good.

I don't have many of the Black Series, but I'll probably get both the Kylo and Rey with the bases. The paint for TLJ Rey seems to be better overall than the first.
