All these guys are like "influencers" and get this **** sent to em. Never believe that they are out there buying them and just magically finding them before release.

Some of them actually say “This review was made possible by....” meaning that’s who sent them the product.

Welp, time to review dollies for a living. :yess:

It’s actually a CRAZY endeavor because your viewers expect you to purchase everything made lol

Movie reviews are much much MUCH cheaper do that instead lol

Free crappy movies < free dolly Han Solo to go on adventures with + justification for slightly unhealthy lifestyle

Smdh.

Also, my Black Series Slave Leia arrived today! Her face is definitely off (I assume it's mostly the paint since the sculpt looks pretty good in certain lighting conditions), but overall she's better than I was expecting.

I find that she looks a lot better proportionally without her bulky slave collar & chain.

Thanks! No its the Bandai Model kit. Hands down the best Stormy on the market in this scale

Ahhh yes, agreed 100%! I actually have one, and I even painted the black parts matte before I assembled it, which is a stretch because I'm no modeler or customizer by any stretch lol

I want 10 more, the BS stormy looks like complete garbage next to this one.

Thats actually something I've been considering doing. Although easier to just top coat the black parts with a matte clear coat. Got any pics?

Was pretty easy actually, that's exactly what I did. Just sprayed the black sprues with matte back then hit it with a matte sealant before taking the parts off and assembling. It actually makes a huge difference in my opinion since it kills the plasticky look of the "undersuit". I dont have any pics, but I'll to snap some if I have time tonight (but be warned my pics are nowhere near yours in quality haha)

I have the Bandai 1/12 Stormy on it's way to me at the moment, looking forward to putting it together.
I also stopped by B&N on Saturday to look for Wolffe with no luck, gotta get Wolffe!

Wolffe is still in stock at Gamestop.com if you cant find him locally! That's where I picked mine up

The Bandai 1/12 Stormtrooper is amazing. I’ve been building one for several months now. It takes me forever because work and young kids mean I only get to work on it very sporadically in short bursts. Also, I’m taking my time to really do it the best I can. The finish on the model is nice, but I’ve chosen to paint the whole thing by hand. Filling some of the seams on the helmet necessitated painting it, and I had to match the rest of the armor. Which is fine because it does look even better painted. I’m going for a “glossy from a distance, but quite weathered and beat-up on close inspection” look that replicates what the armor actually looked like in ANH. Using lots of reference photos.

It’s not finished yet (I’m almost done painting the holster, so I should be assembling the belt soon) but here are some work-in-progress pics. I wish I had better photos because I’m really pleased with how it looks in person, but my cellphone is all I’ve got to work with.

Wow, that's just incredible! Really awesome work! Yours looks a tiny bit shorter than mine next to BS Vader there, did you do something to shorten him or is that my imagination?

Edit: ahh never mind that question, I'm just now noticing your Vader is on the stand there!

His Vader is on a figure stand I think

Man that looks fantastic. What grey are you using to paint the frown?
