Re: Hasbro legends 6" sw figures

R2 seems to be the weakest link. He looks good as far as detail and accessories but I think he may be a bit under scaled. Dunno.

Huh, I guess opinion does vary a great deal from person to person, Captain Toy is praising R2-D2 as the best of the bunch

https://www.mwctoys.com/REVIEW_090613a.htm

Even without the scale issues, R2 is boring and full of mistakes. Those tabs, the rotating head leg issues, the horrible sloppy paint (and lack of paint everywhere else). I own him only because it's R2 and he seems a critical character to own. But he's by far the most boring of this series in my opinion. Even if I don't hate him.

Finally saw Luke and Maul today at Target. Came very close to buying Luke but I think I'm going to wait until I get a Jedi Luke properly done. I do like the size of these figures though.

Luke is the peg warmer around here, hes just not selling.

Of course the Sandies are the hardest to find.

Damn, just took the pic and put it all back in the display cabinet when I realised I hadnt put in Artoo's blue strips on his legs!! Bugger if I was gonna set it all up again for a decent group shot. So here's my group shot :)

I wish my SS Stormie held a pose as well as this puppy.

Figured you guys might like checking out this new feature we are adding to https://www.starwarsblackseries.net/ ....

My sons and I thought it would be fun to try and remake the vintage Kenner Star Wars commercials using the Star Wars Black Series figures! This is a remake of the original R2-D2 Sensorscope commercial from the vintage line. We borrowed the original audio on this one and tweaked it a bit, which I think really helps that "vintage" feel. Hope ya like it!
