Hasbro 6" Black Series Star Wars line

If I found a Sandie, I'd pick one up. But I'm holding out for the Stormtrooper. I won't spend more than retail for these though. These were all over the place at DragonCon, but wanted $30-$40 a pop for them.

I'm surprised they didn't re-use the Sandtrooper sculpt.

That sculpt has caused a lot of discussion on other forums. Keeping in mind that's just the prototype, the helmet appears to be more of the ANH hero version as opposed to the stunt depicted on the Sandtrooper.

I like it overall, although the tubes do have that incorrect angle. In all the photos I've seen it tends to look a bit bigger, more "bucket"-like and seems to capture the feel of ANH well.

My one complaint about the Sandtrooper being that the helmet could be bigger as with all of the armour components...

I'll just wait for the production model before I really judge, but chances are I'm army-building the Stormtrooper. I stopped at two Sandtroopers and won't bite again unless they make a proper sergeant.

Yeah, the mic tubes protrude unusually, but that's not all that's wrong with that helmet sculpt.

The dome is way too round - the prop helmets never looked like that.

It doesn't look like the stunt or the hero helmet. Nor does it look like the ESB or ROTJ versions.

They did a much better job on this 3.75" figure.

I remember when they announced the line of 6' figures. I few people said it would fail cause real SW fans only wanted 3.75 inch figures.

The stock on the ST gun is foldable. They just didn't put it on for that proto pic.

The folding stock was just part of the Sterling so it was incorporated into the Blaster design.
