Same here. Because the regular box (with its generic look and Clone Wars imagery) sucks ass.

I'll get the vintage one, though... and wrap it for my son for Christmas. Then I'll keep the box for myself.

I had planned on getting the Vintage boxed version and holding onto it until my boy was old enough to play with it. Turns out as I learned today, I'm having a little girl instead. Can't sell that idea to the woman anymore.

I know this is slightly OT, but since it's a Hasbro appreciation thread, I just wanted to give my favorite 12" Hasbro figure his last hurrah before he is replaced.

That Palpatine looks AWESOME! I wish I had bought more of the Hasbro 12 inch line, especially IG-88 and the Grandian spy. With a little work, the obscure characters can be upgraded enough to at least stand next to a Sideshow product, albeit pushed back a little, and out of the main light. I just got a Dengar from the current Vintage carded series. HE ROCKS!!! But what is up with C3-PO?

i know nothing of Hasbro but is there a decent looking Imperial Stormtrooper other than SS that'd look good w/ my SS Vader and 1 Stormy? i need 1 more trooper. trying to watch for loose SS armor and make one. but thought maybe, hope against hope, there's an older one that wouldn't look half bad partially hidden behind Vader lol

Chubby? Then it's even more like some of the Stormtroopers at a convention. Or, at least like the Biker Scouts. Man there are some fat *******s in those costumes.

Doesn't have to be the new figure UPC's ones from TLC will work, as will Clone Wars.

Right. It's 5 UPCs from any of the latest figure assortments (VTC, Clone Wars, Saga Legends) plus $5.99 for s&h/processing for each Rocket Firing Fett.

Of course, I bought the entire wave of 8 ROTS Vintage carded figures, plus 4 extra from the ESB wave (including some foil cards) in a case for $102 at Hasbro's CV store, and it came with a mint, unpunched Rocket Firing Fett that they gave you right then and there.

There is a $6.99 shipping fee, but that's it. I have mine on order, and can't wait for it to get here...

On another note, who ordered the Zucuss / 4-Lom Celebration V 2 Pack from Star Wars Shop. It was only $14.99 plus shipping and handling, which I thought was a pretty good deal, considering other retailers like BigBadToyStore are selling them for $24.99. I have mine ordered, and just got the FedEx tracking info today, so I know it will be here soon...

I own the 12inch VOTC Stormie,Boba and ANH Luke..Boba by far is the best of that wave, bought two of him(kept one MOC), both grey jump suit.

According to RebelScum, Hasbro is going to be creating realistic figures of Clone Wars characters. For the longest time, they've said this won't happen, so I don't know why they have changed their minds.
