Geez guys! They just got 'released' 2 weeks ago. the wal-mart I frequent has them. You should be able to ask someone to order some.

That's nice. The wal-mart I frequent doesn't have them and is moving at an incredibly slooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow pace at putting out items that "were released" 2 weeks ago.
If I can't see him on the shelf in the next day or two then maybe I'll see if they can do a site to store (although he's not showing up on the website).

don't know how things work at that walmart, but I do know that when a shelf is empty, its called an OUT and if there's one thing they hate, is an out. cant sell an out. Talk nicely to the toy dept manager(if you can find one) and ask about the status. if they can order it or not. The one I go to, the manager ordered a case before they cam out in order to be ready..

finally scored a jabba set today.......
ripped him right out of the box & went to re-painting........
just got finished with the throne portion:
painted all the "stone" with a wash of tan & a bit of green. added some darker run off stains.....
repainted all the pillows with with a wash & added pastels.
repainted his arm rest with a copper spray paint that i sprayed into a small cup & painted with a q-tip.
and gave the gargoyle heads a more patina finish....(solid black is..)
dul-coated it all except the armrest.
jabba, oola, & crumb are next.
It looks great, but I'd add a black wash to the heads, they look too close to the color of the throne. I can't wait to see how Jabba turns out! I plan on hitting the Dias and at least Jabba's eyes once I get settled into a new home.

They've had an OUT since before Aug. 6th with the empty pegs. I spoke both with the manager and (who I guess) the toy dept manager-- each one said something to the effect of "Oh, yes-- we've got more pallets to put out overnight."... Next morning-- still OUT.

I am glad there is an ewok in the lineup. Dont see enough of them. Hopefully we can get a dio from SS soon.
Hasbro really has been knocking great figures out in the SW line. I am happy everyone is getting the characters they want and enjoying them .

Gammy, Wicket and Luke are must gets for the ROTJ wave.

Yeah, those three are pretty impressive especially gammy.
Anzik- That thing is massive. I had to ask when I saw it at the Con if that was just a promo thing in there to show it off or the real thing. Glad he likes it.
I was just thinking about the Sideshow Piett, and ya know, I wish they'd make a new Piett, the old one was still during the sort of goofy posing days of Hasbro, it's really not a nice version of him compared to what he'd be like today.
