I loved the proof cards that were given away this year, so I bought some frames and mat board and framed these sets today. I wish Hasbro would release four cards from each film, it would be incredible. (sorry for the crappy phone pics!)

Just happened across wave 2 of the Vintage Collection, with the Revenge Of The Sith cards, at my local TRU. I think I'm going to pass on these and stick only with cards from the original trilogy, like the Sandtrooper that comes in this wave. I'm also going to wait until Target gets them in as well, because TRU is still charging $9.99, while everyone else is charging $7.99...

Today I went to Toys R Us and they had one of the new Slave I boxes. Got it home and it is awesome. This is an all new 18 inches long Slave I which is much more realistic and bigger than the prior one. You also get a Mace Windu Starfighter in the box. I didn't even know that was going to be in there! And there are 5 action figures: Mace, Anakin, young Boba, Bossk, and Mace's R2 unit. This whole box is incredible. Back in the old days, something like this would be to good to be true. Hasbro is really doing a great job. The Falcon, the AT-AT, this Slave I, the new Snowspeeder and the Bespin Cloud car are all great.

Glitch, over at the rebelscum forums has some really good shots comparing it to the ESB version that came out a couple years ago. Just scroll down to the middle of the page. I think it's pretty impressive.

Helmet on the foil version has no black over the arrow indentations on the center of the helmet, different paint application to the boots,tip of the blaster barrel is no longer silver.

So I found the foil version today, and no paint change. Same as the regular version, unlike your pic here.

I can't find it at any walmart I go to. Its very frustrating. Did the scalpers grab them all so quick or is it that it has gotten to some areas yet?

One of my local Wal-Marts got in the 2nd wave of vintage figures today, and I picked up my Sandtrooper.

Also I had told myself that I wasn't going to pick up the foil versions of the vintage figures, but I found a Boba Fett and he just looked so damn nice, I had to. Now I have to pick up any of the other OT Vintage Collection figures that are released on foil cards just so I can have a matching set...

I've seen Boba, Luke Bespin and Vader on foil cards from wave 1 and the Sandtrooper from wave 2. Are there any others from Wave 1 that are on foil cards?
