Sixteen of the droids have no articulation and stay folded for the racks so its a little misleading

Misleading but preferred in my opinion. How annoying would it be to try and recreate that moment and then you have all these random hands and legs falling out of position?

Hasbro 12"

So i bought a Hasbro 12" barriss for like 25$. I never thought any of there figures were any good so i never looked into any of them. But it seem's a small select few of them have some potential with customization.

Just wondering what some of u think. Ive seen a few pictures of a few custom hasbro 12" on this site.

Re: Hasbro 12"

I believe I have all but 1 (the Ep 1 Anakin with the droid) of the Hasbro figures. Some of them are very nice.

If you are ok collecting female figures the 4 or 5 different Episode I Padme's are must haves. I'm convinced the exact same figures would run you $150 each if they were called "Sideshow". But you can find them for about $25 each.

The R2s are great. Honestly love the Jar Jar and the Captain Tarpals too.

The later releases are usually better than the first releases.

I have several open items I'd part with at fair price if you are interested. I'm flat out of room to display them. Especially have a lot of Episode II stuff.

Are the female body's and good or am i gonna want to order some ttf body's?

Wasn't it advertised to appear in vintage-style packaging?

wasn't the vintage style only for vehicles that were remakes of the OTC vehicles and that's why they got the "throwback" type packaging...snowspeeder, b-wing,etc..

Most of my 1/6 scale Star Wars figures use modified (or sometimes stock) Hasbro uniforms, weapons, boots, etc. They are great for filler/trooper building. Of course, Sideshow's figures are much more detailed, but I love using Hasbro's affordable pieces for fun customs.

The Imperial Officer, Death Star Trooper, etc. make for great generic imperials to stand behind Praji and Thrawn.

Hoth Luke is a great base for a Hoth Rebel Soldier. You really just need to upgrade the body. The hat is rather large, but it's not that bad. I also like the Endor figures - I made an Endor Han and Luke from pretty much only hasbro parts (boots are DiD):

I like the VOTC series of 12" figures. The Boba Fett was awesome, especially when upgraded to a better body. The Stormtrooper was very good as well, considering the price. I upgraded several VOTC Stormtroopers to Dragon/BBi bodies and they are a fantastic way to fill out your Stormie ranks.

I'll echo some of the above comments - the aliens (especially Garindan) have great sculpts.

The Jedi uniforms are also a great way to fill out your clone cannon fodder, er I mean "protectors of peace."

Again, most of these were simple body swaps. The best part about Hasbro's figures is that you can get most figures for less than $20.00 shipped.

I would love to see other hasbro upgrades!
