I got caught snoozing. I bought a Gamestop gift card to get rid of another gc I had, but it took forever to activate. By the time it did, the RPF apparently bought them all with the 20% discount.

So now I'll be paying extra somewhere else and am stuck with a Gamestop gc. Oh well.

Dorkside has it for $119 with not tax and free shipping.

This helmet looks great. I really hope they do a Mandalorian helmet next. It seems all the Hasbro prob replicas have to have some sort of battery powered feature (possibly required to for licensing reasons?). I guess with the Mandalorian they could do a voice changer like they did with the Kylo Ren and Stormtrooper helmets.

I would love to see Hasbro do a "Rogue One" Tank Commander helmet as well as a Death Trooper helmet. Heck, why not a Scout Trooper (RotJ) version, too!

So for you accuracy experts out there, would you say that this is actually so accurate that I could use it as reference for customizing my 1:6? As in, proportion wise it's close to the more accurate helmets out there?

They took a scan of a real prop and idealized it and cleaned it up

I wound up grabbing it from Gamestop, since once the 20% discount ended, it magically came back in stock.

It was $10 more and had tax, but I was able to use the gift card. And it's in-hand and shipped today, so no waiting for a pre-order.

I'll probably save money in the long run, since if I used that GC to buy a game at Gamestop, I'd probably pay $60 for something that will be $40 in a week somewhere else.

I will be selling my 6" Sideshows items and keep my home office display with only life-size items going forward... but I think I might miss the remaining 6" items... decisions, decisions.

I ordered directly from Hasbro Pulse but no word yet on shipment. I did notice that with the Luke X-Wing helmet, they shipped out about a week after every other site, for some reason.

Yes, it turned out to be because Sideshow couldn't do better with the unnumbered edition.
