When I was a kid, my mom took me & my brother to go see Disney's Fantasia at a local cineplex. My brother fell asleep sometime during the beginning of the film and I remember being really bored with the movie. As the movie progressed, I clearly remember people (parents and kids alike) walking out of the movie. About halfway through, most of the people winded up walking out and we left shortly after. There were maybe 2 people left in the theater when we left. It was the only time that I could ever remember leaving before a movie ended in a theater. To this day, I still can't stand that movie.

I never cared for Fantasia at all. Parts of it are okay, but it's one Disney film I would never own.

Haven't walked out of one but there have been a few movies I've absolutely hated on TV.

Bunch of people walked out of Sweeney Todd--when they realized it wasn't a funny Johnny Depp movie when he started slashing throats.

Crash, what a piece of shizznit.

David Cronenberg's Crash? or a different one?, i think there are quite a few movies with this same title.

Cronenberg's was filmed in Toronto actually, every time i drive on the Gardner Express Way i see the BMW dealership and think of this movie.

"Ooo, someone farted in Canada! Let's made a big deal about it, aye?"

Who cares?

The Lawn Mower Man, long time ago, but it's the only time I HAD to leave the theatre.

Only once! and it was a movie my girlfriend and I sneaked into after we finished the one we went to. It was Alexander with Colin Farrell. we lasted like 10 minutes in there or something. :lol

I walked out from Red Eye, and we also snuck into that one... :D

My wife and I saw Natural Born Killers in the theater twice. We loved it! :lol

Back when Predator 2 was in the theater I had to leave early because my girlfriend at the time couldn't take the violence. That's the only time I've walked out on a film. And it wasn't because I wanted to.

That's awful!!! :monkey2

Never walked out, but saw an elderly couple walk out of Crank when they are having sex in Chinatown. :lol :lol
:rotfl

I considered it during shutter island and paranormal activity, bit I'm too cheap and have to sit through it.

Those movies are at least entertaining... :horror

I saw a couple get up and leave Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon because it wasn't in English. Of course they had to complain loudly about having to read subtitles.

You haven't gone to see a movie in theatres since 2001?
Nope. I must admit I miss seeing films at the flicks.

I was thinking about it last night a JP3 was definately the last one. My GF took me cos it was released in Glasgow on my Birthday but we just ended up leaving and going to the pub instead :rock :drink.
x :wave

One of those Scary Movies - I think it was the last one they made...it sucked so bad. I could not stay.

*for the record - my brother picked that movie - I would have never paid to see it if it was my choice. :lol

The only film I ever walked out of was "The Parenthood". I was young and when they got to the finding the vibrator in the dark scene, my parents had had enough.. out we went.

Left halfway through "The Negotiator" too but only cause we were seated there while they were fixing something in our theatre for "The mask of Zorro" (or as my cousin Aaron called it, the mask of Zero) Finished Negotiator later though.

I actually enjoyed the first Scary Movie. I gave up on that franchise after the POS second film though.
