Having some doubt about Jabba.

My advice is:

Get another CC.

I don't know KD, this feels like last minute jitters to me. I know for myself, I'm more inclined to spend money on figures that I liked "just okay" when I know something really cool is in the pipe. Sort of a "fill the void while I wait" reflex.

I don't know if it the jitters or what. I think I have just fallen head over heals for Hot Toys. And the fact that I can get them now, and not have to wait isn't helping. I'm the king of impatience and right now I have money in my pocket and in-stock items that I really want.

I want them both so much, Jabba/throne and the HTs I listed.

I'm flip flopping on this like a fish out of water.

One minute its HT then next its Jabba.

Alright, if you actually had all of the stuff mentioned and God himself(or the significant other) said you had to get rid of them one-by-one, which would you get rid of first, second, third, etc.?

God would never ask me to do such a thing and the significant other knows better than to make such a request.



Seriously though, I dont have any of them in hand, nor have I seen them in person, so its impossible to say which I would get go of first or last.

Glad to see you've come to your senses King! Gotta get Jabba, no two ways about it. And the time for his is now... although I still think you should get the other figures, but maybe just pick up one a month until you get caught up!

When making decisions about expensive collectibles, sink into the most outlandish and expensive first. Then after than spending $100 on the next figure will be a walk in the park

Gotta side with Jabba here.... He's going to be a very cool item to have and if you are a fan it will satisfy in every regard. The HT figures are always nice and I know your pain... Hell, right now I have Jabba AND HT Alien and Predators coming... and if I could have cancelled I would have... But my loyalty to both will not allow it.

My advice.... First Blood Rambo will still be available next month when you don't have a big ticket item on the way and you can get it. You have one Alien, so you should be ok. I'm sure HT will release another Alien figure again, and it would probably be from another film.. making it even cooler. Same goes for the Predators...

Just be careful and watch the market. Don't put it off for too long and you should be able to scour Ebay and find one. Hey, I've somehow ended up with 3 HT Supes and 2 HT Rambo II's in my time... and that was when they were hard to find. So keep the faith.

What's the rush to get Jabba though. Every SW exclusive can be had for around retail nowdays, the only one that is going for about $100 is Jedi Luke.

Jabba. Remember size does matter. This one big figure and throne will look more impressive than 3 or so 12"ers. You already have 3 or 4 12"ers right? They hot toys will look the same, only different characters. Jabba and this throne DEMANDS to be noticed plain and simple.

And as of RIGHT NOW, Jabba IS the CROWN JEWEL of the Star Wars line. He might not be forever, but he is NOW.

Here are probably the best pics of Jabba at SDCC from Dave at Rebelscum to help you come to your senes. Remember I canceled Both Terminators for Jabba so I know what it is like to have to choose. The Terminators can wait. Jabba won't.

One big detail you forgot though...the Terminators are from Sideshow, you could probably find them 2 years from now for retail.

I feel your dilemma King. I just got hit with the 1/6 scale bug and I keep getting more and more. I really want the HT Rambo and Endo, but with Jabba and the Hulk, I can't get them right now. I still haven't decided what I'll be doing with Jabba. I'll probably end up cancelling him. Good luck with your decision.

I've only got one more thing to add king....

How much space do you have? If you assume that coming down the line is a Millennium Falcon envioronment or possibly something like the Emperor's Throne room, which one would you rather keep and which one gets the boot.

You could always just flip oit latter I guess, but ok...

I'll stop contributing to the confusion.
