Breaking Bad...

Walking Dead...
BB ok (even though I still think that show peaked in S4, S5 was still amazing)

The Walking Dead I honestly bailed on in S4. Right around the time the show became people walking down train tracks moping for an hour interrupted by the occasional repetitive zombie attack.

WD 5&6 are the show at it's best IMO. The second half of S6 is great!

I have rewatched much of this season, and I think I have changed my mind about it. While I think this is probably still the best thing on TV right now, I do feel like its slipping a bit. I imagine this is because they no longer have the books to fall back on. It feels less focused, and certain situations and scenes don't feel quite right to me, like the Varys scene tonight. I feel like the writers are unsure of what to do and there seems to be more "filler" in every episode, something which was not a problem in the past.

I think this could have been avoided had they not streamlined the show in relation to the books as much as they did. Perhaps it would have given Martin time to catch up, at least with his most recent, yet to be finished book.

Don't get me wrong, the show is still great, but certain things just don't feel right to me.

I loved tonight's episode but it hit hard. I'm still absorbing some.of it and letting it settle in.

But I got to thinking about something: whatever happened to the walkers taking the infant boys and turning them into night walkers themselves? We haven't really seen what comes of that. The same walkers have pretty much been that way since the beginning of the show--the ones with grey hair and the king--but no adolescent looking warriors unless I'm forgetting?

Also, and spoiler below for anyone who has not watched tonight's episode.........

But I wonder if they can revive a zombie direwolf like they did their own horses they ride on.

If you are weasely enough, you can last a good, long while on this show. On a related note, in one of the previous seasons (possibly season 5?) there was a deleted scene with him, where the audience finds out that his hunched over, prattling old man act is just that--an act--and that he's really much more youthful than he lets on.

The Jon Snow/Sansa reunion definitely gave me the feels, LOL.

Have a very bad feeling about the upcoming Tyrell/Faith Militant confrontation...I see NO REASON to trust Cersei and Jamie. According to them, the Lannisters won't intervene, but I can see them having Margery and/or Loras killed in the midst of the chaos brought upon by the Tyrells and the Sparrows...
Yeah, I think the Tyrells are being played. Cercei is out to do away with all of her rivals, I think. Hodor thing was a real bummer.

WOW! another emotional rollercoaster of an episode. left me very sad.:monkey2

One bright spot was The Red Priestess Ania Bukstein. Hope to see more of her :wink1:

damn these witches are gorgeous. I'm a little bummed Melisandre hasn't had more of a influence since Jon's revival. She literally didn't even speak one word tonight. A very good episode about the WW's though, but I didn't understand what happened after they were created? Was it just a Frankenstein experiment gone wrong?

One dead Dire wolf per episode. I love it! Said no one ever.

Besides that bull ****, it was a great episode.

They better bring Summer back, and Shaggydog better not be dead in the first place.

As messed up as it may be...

There's a perfect opportunity to have an undead Hodor pursue Bran and Meera...
