I have NOT read the alleged spoilers from a leaked script page, but just based on watching for the last 8 years, and how clumsily they've been writing the last few episodes, I wouldn't be surprised if the next episode deals with Cersei and that's the last we see of her and Jaime and possibly ever Tyrion, and the Mountain and Hound and anyone else they wanna off; and then the final episode is Dany vs Jon vs Sansa and ties it all up.

Purely speculation on my part, but that seems to be the order they've been pushing the "conflicts"....first was the obvious, the walkers. We already knew they were gonna go for Cersei so they had to foreshadow all the lying/betrayal to set a wedge between Jon and Dany and Sansa, and they're more important characters, so it's only natural they'll save that for the very end.
Well, since there are only 2 episodes left, no other way for this to unfold.

That's the whole trouble with this series it should have probably been a full 13+ episodes not hurried and squished into 6, makes everything clumsy and rushed a sad end to an otherwise excellent TV drama.

Being a dog owner myself, I agree with you. Kinda pissed me off! That wolf was faithful to him the entire series and even in death! They should've had a proper goodbye. This season seems a little rushed..... :(

:exactly: Agreed. It's very rushed, wish they'd stuck to the 10 episodes per season format rather than trying to cram it all in last minute like :(

I would have been ok with 2 6 episode seasons to finish the series instead of one rushed 6 episode season

The more I watch The Long Night, the more I like it.

But I found the first two episodes a little dull, and Ep 4 was awkward in many ways.

Ep 5 should be the big battle. I have no idea what Ep 6 will be... the showdowns? The resolution? Cut to: 1 Year Later...?

Anyway, I've never seen a series end well. This is in keeping.

I guess they're focusing on the Targaryen Years right now.

But that's the inherent problem with series: they go on and on and develop and linger, and then one day the top dogs say "its over, wrap it up" and you only have so much time.

All the blame should be put on George RR Martin. The slowest writer ever...:lol

They had no choice but do do their own thing once they caught up. Now instead of the creators vision, we get a writers group deciding what happens. I never really ever had any intention of reading the books but after the series is over, and the last 2 novels come out, I may give it a go just to see how different it is and how it ends.

Do you really think if it was going strong and on Target with GRRM finishing the stories HBO would have really pushed this series to conclude now.No way.

IMO:the guy got heavy into it.Did Cons,TV shows all the Parties even hung with the K gang.Couldn't finish his own Story.. HBO even waited 2 years.

The books have way more to them than the show
