Another really great episode. I like the fact that the shocking twist (usually a death) doesn't seem to be a hallmark of this show in the way that it was on GOT. Instead, it's more focused on the methodical rollout of the story. In a way, I'm surprised they didn't double down instead, like they are with the Boys, going for bombast and the hype of what will crazy thing will happen in next week's episode over straight storytelling.
I think there is a natural point of comparison since Bezos apparently got this out of asking for his own "Game of Thrones," and obviously there is a fantasy core to both, but it is pretty hard to compare two shows with such different orientations and goals. It's like comparing Monty Python with the Big Bang Theory.Strange that they released both series at the same time. They shouldn't be compared however with the parallel release they are.
