Do you guys realize how collectible the cross-eyed versions of this statue will be in the coming years?!? LOL

I know right?

This is a post from HCG's Facebook regarding the Selene statue. The rep that posted this must have been the same guy I spoke with because the mirror thing is the same thing he told me on the phone LOL!

"The "cross-eyed" syndrome thankfully seems to be very limited, it appears to have been down to one artist at the factory who I have no idea what he sees when he looks in the mirror. But in all seriousness, anyone who has received one of these will be sent a replacement. We have also hand inspected and will continue to hand inspect all the remaining statues before they are sent out, to ensure that everyone receives a statue with the baby blues in the correct position."

They eye lashes look different on yours though. Could just be the lighting. Also, I don't see a little bit of the vampire tooth on yours like I do on the cross-eyed one.

The eyelashes on mine are more in line with Adolfo's pics. They are thick top and bottom.

thank god not all of them have the CE syndrome. overall the piece does seem rather cool, but something about the face sculpt still hasn't gotten me sold on this piece yet.

Got a reply back at HCG that all the Selenes will be hand checked prior to shipping. Apparently it is stemmed by 1 artist...

I just got her in today and it's a very good piece. I was really worried after seeing the first pics of her, but after
inspecting the statue I am overall very satisfied with it. I think HCG has been picking up there game lately.

I personally think the likeness of Kate is very good, and after seeing this piece in person I am going to order the lycan tomorrow.

Outstanding pics...except for that eye issue this piece is awesome...I think almost everyone agrees....We have waited for a Selene for quite a while now and finally got one worthy of Underworld...Kudos for HCG taking care of the Eye issues rather swiftly...again grats to all that get this piece..It's worth it...That exclusive will sell out soon IMHO..
