Statue HCG - Rocky Balboa 1/4 Scale Statue

Yeah the price isn't that bad at all, the only thing that bothers me is the sculpt, its not as good as it could be. But I pre-ordered it anyway, since theres not that many Rocky collectibles out there.

I just hope these don't get canceled, the sales on the Rocky 1/6 and Clubber 1/6 weren't good, you can't even give them away on ebay.

I don't think that's entirely true. Maybe it's true for Clubber, but they're both sold out at HCG, and I don't see any of the 1/6 Rocky available on Ebay.

I dont see how those could have even sold out. The quality is straight up garbage. It looks like they let a four-year old kid paint them lol.

Yeah, they're not very good, especially Clubber.

Yes the paint is terrible on this one, and you're right there's know why it sold out, I checked HCG and it says wait list, but they also say Clubber is wait list, I think they list it like that because they won't you to believe it's very rare and it's about to sell out, it's obvious that there not telling the truth. I also followed some ebay auctions and sellers couldn't even get a single bid with a starting price of only $100, sad but it reflects the quality and demand for this statue. Wouldn't surprise me if both the 1/4 Rocky and Sweats statue were canceled. I have the 1/4 and 1/6 Rambo and the quality of both those statues is so much better then the Rocky statues they are putting out. Both sculpted by Maga, I wonder why?

That's great news, but the wait well be to the end of 2013 before you can get it, the delay on the Rambo IV 1/4 was a year and a half.

Anybody know what's going on with the HCG 1/4 Rocky III statue? It was suppose to be released 4qt 2011. I was looking forward to seeing some in hands pictures of it by now. This statue is limited to 750 statues, it's hard to believe that they well sell 750 of them at $300.

HCG has another statue called Rocky In Sweats and that was scheduled for release this month, so I guess that's going to have a long delay to.

I wonder why this company always has such long delays?

I have it to, it's great. I also have the Rambo IV 1/6 displayed right next to it.

Doesn't seem to be any interest here in HCG Rocky statues that are all sculpted by Maga. The 1/6 Clubber Lang is awesome. I talked to Maga a couple of weeks ago and he said he's doing a Rocky 1 in the black leather jacket and hat 1/6 statue, he's going to sell it like he did with the Rocky Balboa limited to only 30 statue. I haven't seen any pics of it yet, but am sure it should be great.

I just got an email from HCG, they say the Rocky III 1/4 statue should ship in two or three weeks.

Why is it so important to you to buy the statue from HCG and not private?

I bought the Rocky Balboa statue directly from Maga and it was a lot better then buying it from HCG, got it fast without all the manufacturing delays. That particular statue got a lot of hate here, but it's one of my favorite statues.
