i seem to remember that....barely but for some reason I think I really liked it. you're right, cartoon's these days aren't good....or at least there aren't as many good ones. Ben 10 is pretty cool though, I was watching like an old xmen cartoon and that came on after it and i was impressed.

Well... if we're comparing it to today standards, yes, of course they might appear as bad quality. But back in the day, they were great, not the best, but great!! Lots of great memories, I still have the original Grayskull and a few figures at my folks. Thundercats too!

still have a ^^^^load of vintage he-man in storage. including castle greyskull and snake mountain with that microphone that makes your voice sound all scary.:rock

It's a bummer we don't see as much of the vintage collections people have on this board--that stuff spans many regions of pop culture collectable. GI Joe, Transformers, Star Wars, TMNT--everyone always has it "packed in storage". Besides myself and Galactiboy, I can't think of anyone displaying big vintage collections from the 70s, 80, and 90s here.

Yeah, I too have a lot of vintage stuff, but the high-end stuff does slowly push some of it back into storage. But my M.U.S.C.L.E., Kenner Star Wars and some other key figures will always be representing.

I'm actually bummed right now since I don't have a place to display my Super Naturals... those figures are sweet :rock

Oh, and while M.A.S.K. was cool, I was all about the DINO-RIDERS :rock :rock

now that i have a house i may try to empty my storage space out. i actually really want to look through my he-men and transformers. they have great nostalgic value to me and id never sell em.

80's toys to me represent the perfect balance of playability and commercialism. I think prior to the 80's toys were more about play value and less pop culture, and then after the 80's the toys were all about the money and TV tie-ins and the play value sucked.

But I could also be biased as I was battlin' with Thundercats and Secret Wars figures in 1985 :rock

M.A.S.K. reminds me of another toy line back in the day I can't think of the name of at the moment. Do you guys remember those military vehicles that were supposed to represent insanely huge jets and tanks? On the box, you would see diagrams showing the insides of them and they would carry like a 100+ military personnel...?

The evil horde were the coolest...and Moss-Man smelled good.

Wow, that looks cool!!
My stuff is at my folks in Mexico!! Not that I wouldn't display it, I just don't have it with me!! I've been thinking of bring in it up here, but I have no shelf space, cuz I have the 200X line displayed :D

the Neca mini-statues are really superb. Brings a lot of nostalgic memories.
