I loved my He-Man figures as a kid. My Dad bought me a He-Man when they first came out in like 1981 or 1982. Did anyone else try to get their fathers to draw a mustache on Man-At-Arms so he would look like the cartoon version?
The toys to me are still great but when I look at the old show and the new show, the one from 1983 really doesn't hold up well IMHO. The artwork and the mini-comics are still great but the animation, well, sucks when I watch it today.

M.A.S.K. reminds me of another toy line back in the day I can't think of the name of at the moment. Do you guys remember those military vehicles that were supposed to represent insanely huge jets and tanks? On the box, you would see diagrams showing the insides of them and they would carry like a 100+ military personnel...?

I think you mean Kenner's Mega Force:

Had a feeling you'd be able to answer that question Nate... I must bow to your superior knowledge in all things 80's toys :lol

Please--that was a softball.

I'm gonna throw Sectaurs and Captain Power into the ring. Sectaurs were a waaay cooler rip-off of Thundercats than Tiger Sharks--cooler villains, better weapons, and very cool beast vehicles. Captain Power's TV-interactivity was cool, but I mostly just liked their design--like Battle Force 2000 on crack. And both Sectaurs and Capt. Power had huge bases; The Hive and The Power Base!
