I love that he's always changing his story. That it's all shrouded in mystery, and never stated explicitly.

I suppose the truth lies inbetween. His father must have been abusive. Maybe he had a softer spot for his mother, who also suffered at his father's hand. Maybe he had a relationship that went awry. Someone he deeply cared about. Maybe it ended in tragedy.

Or maybe it's none of that actually.

I wonder what story he would have told, before Batman tossed him off a building. Another piece to the puzzle perhaps.
It’s because Nolan took elements of comic book the Killing Joke.
1.) Misleading backstories about himself
2.) The big one that the Dark Knight is about is “All takes is one bad day….”
The whole movie was joker way’s of showing people’s true colors and that pushed over the edge you would slip into madness like gravity just like him.

Absolutely beautiful photos!!! :clap

I like the laughing one more than I thought I would, especially that crooked pose you have him in in the last photo.

'Sleepy' is just so Ledger though. It's the one sculpt I've ever seen that has Heath oozing through the make-up. That's why it looks so real.
Both are great but "Sleepy" literally knocked me out of my slipers. It's freaking amazing.

It's Ledger, it's him.

Heise's head is a masterpiece but V1 takes the crown, I think it's the best Heath Ledger's headsculpt.

I know he did change certain things, but for the most part it's a reuse of an old sculpt. Personally I don't see the added $100 value despite how good it looks. I also know John isn't in this business just to make money and profit, that's been known for a while now. However it seems to me that he didn't expect his first project to take off like that and he saw how many people wanted his V1 sculpt after it sold out so he decided to reuse it. Then adding that extra $100 makes it seem like he's trying to profit off of the people that missed out on his V1.

I could be wrong though, these are just my assumptions. I don't talk to John so I don't know him personally like you do.

Who in their right mind would buy a sculpt for $500? That's pretty insane. I wouldn't buy anything of Ambrosial anymore just because of the fact he sold his sculpt to Hot Toys, which is completely ruined now. There's nothing unique about it anymore, I'd be pissed if I had done custom work on it.
$500 is a ton for sculpt alone. Been looking into doing a MoS custom and the sculpt dogfather sells is $500 without paint😭 just can’t justify paying nearly 1k for the head alone with paint work

Wow!
Those pics are why i would never be able to go for the dx32...
I can't see Heath Ledger in the sculpt..(like in pretty much all the Joker's 1:6 figures)
But this one is really incredible!
It's the best one i've ever seen, and it's really the best expression for me..
If only i could afford it..
