I really like this Myers. Maybe one day I'll try to assemble one (again).

I couldn't get myself to pay for the latest coveralls. Way overpriced at $420 + shipping (was it?). Ridiculous.

I'd also have to find a good rooted sculpt.

I wouldn’t build any Myers past the first two so I’m happy I can say they’re complete. Although I’ll probably find another body for ‘78.

oddly enough, i havent found an 78 run/project that i liked. i think the only head that would really scratch the itch for me is harper's latest. no clue if he's gonna do them anytime soon. my only complaint is how harper paints the eyes, but in his defense, theyre likely hard. some people prefer to not see the shape's eyes but i like the added detail underneath the mask

on my 3rd sample for 2018/kills. originally was gonna build a kills but seeing how this is turning out so far, i think ill have to ask for another with the trouble the tailor is going through back and forth with me

Yeah good call, I don’t think you’ll regret missing out on that smiling sculpt. It’s not worth the extra $600-700 imo.

Just spoke with Spec about swapping to the Type A JND Ledger Joker, at first they weren’t going to do it, had to mention that they were gladly willing to change my order to the Type C version had they made any available again. Told them there was zero chance I’d eat a $500 USD deposit so now they’re willing to change my order.

Sometimes persistency is key.

Yeah, it's just funny to me at this point.

I asked them for the price of something, and they said $100. I said alright, how much is shipping to this address? And they responded, "this went through 37 modifications and 5 months of work, if its a bad price for you, kindly check with another studio ".

My experience with this studio is always strange. Like you're walking through a minefield trying to keep the conversation or topic on point. I speak to them like I'm speaking to a 5 year old to keep things easy for the translator. And I stopped asking them multiple questions, or inquiring about more than one item at a time. They just get confused.

They're not intentionally bad though.
Mostly circumstantially.
