I'm tempted...

Will it ever end ?

Would be redundant to have both I think. But certainly wouldn't hurt for photography.

But between the two, I like the open mouth a lot better.

It would be hypocritical for me to say something as I own a few recasted headsculpts.

Technically in some instances some can argue that they do get nice things thanks to the recasters.

But if you get one at least get a good one painted by a proper painter not that overpriced crap that Chan Ox sells...

Would John himself paint & hair a recast “sleepy” sculpt, seeing as he’s painted a few recast sculpts in the past?

That sucks. It's been so long since he's done a TDK Joker run (at least to my knowledge) that it's sort of surprising that he's "tired of it." I'd buy it since I've never owned any of Kato's work

Seriously He keeps on messing with and making multiple Rick Grimes, but is somehow tired of TDK Joker? His choice though. Just unfortunate.

I find myself pursuing customs not so much for quality (gap is closing as you said) but more so for specific part enhancement / accuracy.

A company won't get everything right, and neither will any individual artist.

Grab something here, and another there... it keeps things interesting and yields the best results.

Totally agree. Same thoughts as to me getting the WonderWorld parts. At the end of the day, it is nice to have multiple options to hopefully cater to almost everyone's needs and idea of their own perfect Joker, whatever that may be.

Me too, I’m leaning towards this expression more.

I didn’t ask, but it seems very early days so I don’t think a price and unit amount is set yet.

I have half a mind to sell my spot with Yuan (and the Seeart sculpt).

I reckon I can get 2, maybe even 3 heads done with John for the same price...
