I'm also fascinated with the disguise trend that pertains to heists in general (The Town, Baby Driver, Payday, GTA...)
Same here, if I remember correctly the Nolan’s had a big Heat influence around the time which inspired the opening. It was one of the films they made the cast watch before shooting began to pick up.

I kinda wish he'd chosen something other than the V2, considering it's going to take up so much of his time.

A Bank Robber sculpt would have certainly been an interesting choice.

He's got a rolling eyes sculpt down the pipeline as well.
V2 is like a little project between V1 and Neutral expression (rolling eyes sculpt).

And next it should be his "Hit me !" scene inspired sculpt amongst other projects that are not related the Joker

Yep that’s absolutely correct, and they nailed it in the BR scene and the build up to bats and Joker finally going face to face, a la diner scene in Heat.

Yeah the Diner scene in Heat and the Interrogation scene here are very similar.

Both allowing the audience to sit for a moment with them and pry into the character’s minds briefly. Everything slows down. Giving you just enough, but not all to where you have an idea where they’re coming from, you can see it, but done in a way to where you won’t forget right from wrong following them through the story when they make these decisions.

More stories need to be told this way. How many films are from the heroes perspective instead of down the middle or following the villain but acknowledging wrongdoings. These other worldly villains don’t resonate.
I’d get a Neil McCauley custom before I bought a marvel villain.
