I have a spare TOPO purple coat not sure if it’s a 1.0 or 2.0…nothing wrote on box when I bought it last week.
I’ve chosen the new HT’s coat instead, it fits better

Did it states TP007 when you bought it? If so, it's TOPO 2.0.

I'd be interested to know how to tell the difference between 1.0 and 2.0 as I recently also bought a set.

You can tell from the length of the pants - 1.0 is too short.

Another telltale sign is the gloves. 2.0 is brand new sculpt, while 1.0 seems to be a repaint version of TOPO Robber suit.

Both are great. I'm happy with my V2.

Oh I'm definitely also happy with my V2 spot too! I wouldn't trade it for anything (don't want Dio to tell me "I told you so" when it's out). Also, it's gonna be light years ahead of my HT DX01 and DX33

I'm asking just out of curiosity, since there's a few here that mentioned they prefer V1.

Yes. The V2 is great, but it exists as a compromise to appease those who missed the V1. It's a derivative, if not a neutered down version. Once you've closed that mouth shut, you've lost an important component (that pairs better with the neck tilt, and the squinted eyes) and the result is far less striking in my opinion.

Thanks for sharing your perspective! I can understand what you meant.

For me, I kind of viewed it as a chance to build on something already great. Making little tweaks like more accurate nose and ears are signs of that. But hey, I missed out on V1 so perhaps my views are tinted haha

As well as the TOPO green waste coat having problems with getting the fastness to shut…the TOPO shirt as weak magnets
I can’t understand why they didn’t use buttons or clips to fasten.

Just a small restyle, with water and a small comb. In this case he has already enough glue.

Your sculpt came out better than mine

Although I truly regret going with Yuan. I feel the value with John is so much better. But at that price point, Heise is the only option for Joker.

Do you have pictures of your sculpt? I’m quite happy with mine, quite close to the prototype.
