Haven't watched any of the Hellraiser movies, but this DOES look very nice, VERY gruesome! Though it almost lacks that certain elegance that the original design had...

Looks pretty sick. Though I have no faith that the remake could possibly live up to the original, I am looking forward to it.
The designs for the original Cenobites was FLAWLESS!! Nothing could be done to improve upon them, absolutely NOTHING! That said, I kinda like the new design, except it looks more like a mental patient who did some extreme cosmetic surgery on himself than a demon from Hell.
Looks like they took the original design and just tried to make it more gruesome, adding fresh cuts and blood Not overly impressive, but I suppose it could have been worse.

I guess they're trying for a more hardcore look at the Cenobite's version of Hell.
I do miss the elegence of the original designs, but this is certainly more terrifying and has me wondering if it'll be too intense for me. Granted, I'll still watch it, but I may not sleep so well afterward.

The new design more like a 6. I appreciate that they are trying to have a more visually aggressive design, todays youth is mentally impotent and can only be stimulated through graphic visual violence and horror. This design fits perfecting into the "Saw" generation of horror fans.
Either way, its a good design, just not as great as the original.
