I wonder if using baby power or corn starch on the sockets after heating them up with a hair dryer would do the trick. I'd use an old model paint brush to brush off the excess powder afterwards.

I don't think adding gritty powder would help at all.

I would steer clear of applying anything on these figures. You might be okay with water, but anything else may have horrible consequences.

anyone know where i can get a spare dog alien leg, mine shattered in 3 pieces at the hip socket,

Here it is guys another dog alien problem, had the same problem with the leg but will brute force it popped in, but the arm falls of all the time.Is there a way to tightin the joint?

Dingo ebay would be the spot but hard to find.I would check off and on

stuff it, ended up drilling a small hole through the ball-joint into what was left of the socket and screwed in a thin long enough screw, at least its posable now.
Tried the sanding (obviously not enough), hairdryer, lube with no success, i guess some figures were easier than others, not mine.

Just spit on the ball joint!! Dont use wd40 or any other lube it will make the figure loose and it wont be able to stand.

I used a hair dryer and a little brute force and it went in just fine. Before that I almost broke my wrist with the damn leg from the Dog Alien.
