Hi All,

Another easy build and base.

Recipe

Figure - is the Bandai FO trooper and was built straight out of the box and was painted using Vallejo and MIG paints yes I know new paints and I have found the MIGS paints are on par with Vallejo.

I have had people email and PM me as to why I am doing articulated figures and the reason is that I have a Con coming up in June and I will have a table selling my pieces and I had people ask me will there be articulated figures this year at the table and so that is why I have been doing some of them this way.

Base - is very simple it is the troopers base with balsa wood sides and then a mix of 40% sand and 60% spakfilla was mixed together with a little water and then it was spread over the base. Once dry I gave the sand a wash of Vallejo's Iraqui Sand and the small wall is a piece of high density foam and I pulled pieces of it and added spakfilla over it then painted it Vallejo Iraqui Sand and then a light wash of Vallejo Beige Brown.

Hey Ron, I love your Youtube videos and this thread of your work. I was just wondering what acrylic colors you use for your Boba fett figure. I got the bandai Kit and am working on a 1/6 mythos version that I am looking for the right colors for his armor. Your help is appreciated!

Thanks heaps mate and for the under suit I painted with Vallejo's Sky Grey and once dry gave it a very light wash of matt black then dry brushed Sky Grey to bring out the details.

For the armour I painted that using Vallejo's German Field Grey and then a wash of Vallejo Dark Green.

Hi All,

This Fett dio was made for a client, please enjoy.

Recipe

Fett - is from Bandai is made straight out of the box, I just glued the joints in place and then covered them with putty. I used tissue paper to cover his uniform and used a piece of cloth for his cape, I used a this piece of wire and drilled a hole into the left gauntlet and secured the wire and then I used Woodland Scenics Water Effects to make the flame and also the thrusters flame and then painted them.

The jet pack was secured by using two pieces of plastic rod and these were secured to the base and then I used cotton wool to make the flames and used chalk pastels to give the smoke some colour.

Base - is from the kit and I added sides using balsa wood and then started building up the base using plastic card, an old computer plug, paint lids and GI Joe guns. I drew the mando logo using a pencil and then I went over them with paint, I then used Vallejo paints and pastel chalks to give the base a real rusty look to it.

Another sweet dio! Some LEDs in the jet wash would have really made this one epic! Its hard enough in 1/6 so can only imagine how it would be in 1/12.

Hi All,

Just another simple dio.

The Trooper is built straight out off the box and I used stockings to cover the joints and painted and weathered it using Vallejo paints and pastel chalks.

The base is the troopers base and I used high denisty foam and the door is foam with plastic card. The control is made from pieces of plastic card, the wall and sand was done using a mix of spakfilla and sand.
