Hi All,

Recipe.

AT-ST & figures- is from Bandai and has been built straight out of the box. The figures are from the Imperial Assualt box set and the troopers are been modified.

Base - is high density foam and cut out and the trees have been done by using aluminium foil and then spakfilla was used to cover the foil and a wide brush was used to make the bark. The branches are from Woodland Scenics, I also used woodland Scenics for the smaller trees.

The ground work is spakfilla mixed with dirt and then spread across the base and once dry I used a mix of static grass, ground up leaves, dirt, railway model foam clumps and blended the lot together and glued to the base. The mud is a mix of spakfilla and paint and it was dapped over the base and once dry I used Woodland Scenics Realistic Water to give it a more wet look.

The undergrowth is from a company called MiniNatur and also Army Painter and once applied to the base and once dry the dio was sprayed with Matt Sealant.

Hi All,

Here's another little project I did, I used a Matchbox Falcon and repainted it. The asteriods are foil and spakfilla has been used to cover them and the whole thing was painted using Vallejo paints. I also did a little photo shop and got rid of the rods under the asteroids.

Hi All,

This Jawa is for the same client that I'm doing the AT-AT foot for.

Recipe

Jawa - has a body from an old Madelman figure I got off ebay and I removed the lower legs and added boots from a old 6" figure I had in the parts box.

The head was from an old Call of duty WW2 figure and I cut the nose and ears off then I used thin lining model tape and wrapped it around the head and boots.

Once the tape was done I then used tissue paper and attached it to the head and boots using watered down PVA glue. The eyes are two elbow pins I took of an old arm that I had in the bits box.

The robe was from the Hasbro 6" Obi Wan Kenobi and I cut it down and repainted it and the bandolier weapon holsetr and belt are pieces of leather. The bandolier pouches are from the Bandai Sandtrooper shoulder ammo puuch and the rest of the pouches are from the Bandai Sandtrooper and other old figures.

The weapons are pieces of Bandai Sandtrooper weapons cut and attached to the desired look and the power supply is from the Bandai Deathtrooper and the connector/wire at the bottom the power supply is from a 1/6th scale WW2 German head set.

Base - is from Bandai with balsa wood sides and the sand is a mix of spakfilla/sand/paint and spread over the base and the Protocol Droid is the Bandai C3PO left over parts.

Hi All,

The AT-AT foot and figure AT-AT Driver was acommission piece, I painted the rocks Vallejo Matt Black and then a light dry brush of Vallejo Sky Grey.

The foot and partial leg were made using foam board and then covered in cardboard. The greeblies are pieces from 1/35 scale WW2 models and also plasic card, It was sprayed with Tamiya Olive drab and then Tamiya Light grey.

The snow was done using watered down spakfilla and I kept adding water until the spakfilla is a paste type consistency. It was then spread over the base and foot and while it is drying I use a lightly damp baby wipe and press very softly on the spakfilla to give it a more natural look.

The client wanted the AT-AT driver articulated which is just a repaint which I used Vallejo paints the hardest part was the armour which is a light grey which I mixed Vallejo Sky grey and matt white until I got the colour to match the armour.

I haven't painted the snowtroopers as they are for another project and I just wanted to show them on the base.

Hi All,

Did another 2 in 1 dio this time C-3PO & R2-D2. The figures are both from Bandai and built straight out of the box and they were painted and weathered using Vallejo Paints and Pastel Chalks.

The base is the stands that come with the kits and I used balsa wood for the edges. The small moisture vaporator and storage unit were done by using soft drink lids, charger cords, plastic card and deodorant lids.

The sand is a mix of spakfilla and sand and once dry the base was painted and weathered using Vallejo Piants and Pastel Chalks
